This tool slices through weeds like a hot knife through butter. It takes one tedious chore & makes light of it. Being a Wolf tool you can choose the length of handle to fit the specific task. I have raised beds & this is ideal for getting around established plants.

As usual with theses tools a great build quality and ease of use. An ideal tool working around onions and other closely planted vegetables.

I have used swoes for over 35 years, this is the best of the current crop. Looks like it was made in the old eastern bloc, and all the better for it. Solid, properly welded, correct angle head, comes sharpened unlike new Wilkinson and similar products, so good for a lot of work. On the longer handle it is well balanced and works like one would hope. Much much better than Wilkinson Sword's pathetic current efforts, and those swoes on wooden handles which look 'heritage' but are heavy, badly angled, and just fall to bits. Recommended.

This is unusual in that it has 3 cutting edges. Initially I used it as a mini axe, for cutting into the compacted soil. It works well to break up the top 2 inches or so. Next I looked on youtube and found that you can use it back and forth on the longer edges, like a dutch hoe. It's so small, that you can hoe easily between shrubs and in borders. you can add soil improver in borders without damaging plants. Small tools are great for ladies or the elderly, and they're better value for money as you end up using them far more often.

I have one of these made by WolfGarten and the fact that this is not up to the standard of my old one I am in doubt wether it is actually genuine.

Attached with rod weeds can be removed effortlessly. A very good one . Can go for it.

bought an american made swoe 30 years ago. Like this on better due to the thinner blade. drilled a 18mm hole in a wood hoe handle and used 1 ounce 4 min epoxy to set it in place. now drying 24 hours before use
