After up dating my computer needed something to connect my monitor and this was the perfect attachment . had no trouble fitting it I would recommend if you need to convert Vga to HDMI

Use your Laptop with an old monitor for an enhanced viewing experience.
By chance I saw a video showing how anyone can extend their Laptop by using an old VGA monitor and a connector cable. The result was unexpectedly joyous. Being a senior citizen I'm only happy with large screens and this made using the Laptop a pleasure. I had one laptop with an HDMI port and one old monitor with a VGA connector (it must be 10 years old at least). Connecting the two devices is so easy...just "plug & play". I'm impressed with the simplicity of the whole exercise. It's great value for money, very well made, resulting in very good picture and sound quality.

Hdmi adapter
A simple device which has worked very well. I needed it to keep a vga kvm switch in use. Couldn't be bothered buying a new HDMI kvm. Don't need super deluxe 8k signal, refresh rate or whatever, certainly not for reading or typing stuff anyway.

I have an Compaq 7550, I can set it to 1280 x 1024 @ 75hz with this adapter and it looks great, though I prefer 1280 x 960 for a true 4:3 experience. I tested the adapter and it displayed 1920 x 1080 @ 59.94Hz, though it flickers a bit, but that is probably old CRT issues. I could also do 1024 x 768 @ 85Hz. So I'd say this adapter works as advertised.

Perfetto funziona : Il prodotto mi è stato davvero utile per collegare un vecchio monitor al portatile. Funziona benissimo, senza problemi di compatibilità o qualità dell’immagine. Inoltre, ha un prezzo davvero ottimo, quindi lo consiglio.
