PowerBee ® Perfect Pond Solar Power Pond Oxygenator for small to medium ponds

I have a outdoor pond, with about 50 fish. The size of this pond is 8ft x 10ft x 3ft. I have an old solar pump working ok but requires a lot of sun. Fitted the new pump in tandem with old and works very well. Easy to use and install, only has one air outlet but seems sufficient for my pond. Hope it provides years of service, will strongly recommend this device.

Brilliant product for a small pond. Really easy to set up and get going - just plug it all together and drop the oxygenator ball in the pond. I have been impressed at how it has kept pumping out a small stream of bubbles even at dusk or on gloomy days. With full sunlight it actually spurts bubbles out of the pond it is so powerful! Great solution for a small pond with no other filter. I have a green water problem in my pond and I'm hoping this will help (by keeping it oxygenated to help the algae decompose). It won't work miracles, but I think it helps. Also of course, it means the fish are happier and I don't have to faff around so much with lots of oxygenating plants.

This works brilliantly. The panel only needs a little sun before the stone is happily bubbling away. It is noisy when working hard, I imagine that all aerators are. We moderate this by not having the panel fully facing the sun. With careful positioning we have managed to achieve a clear, aerated pond without too much intrusive noise. Update May 2023. Lovely sunny day, it has faltered like there was shade going across the panel, then died.

good quality product , by using a DC motor instead of the normal AC motor you get in other products to drive the air pump it also works in just bright light, it pulses some bubbles even when the sun is not directly on the solar panel , the panel is quite small but powerful , the length of cable and air hose are both a good length , when the sun is directly on the panel it almost works TOO well. I added a hose splitter and an extra hose and air stone to this and both work REALLY well when the sun is directly on the panel.

I purchased this item to replace a different make of oxygenator that had stopped functioning. This product performed very well in sunny conditions for the first couple of days, producing a good amount of bubbles and a small amount in lower light conditions. However as others have commented the product then stops working for no reason suddenly, even in bright sunny conditions. Mine then started again, but stopped when the sun moved away from the solar panel, whereas before it continued. Will monitor over next couple of days and if no improvement it will be going back for a refund.

Really pleased with this little oxygenator. We use it in a small ornamental pond (half an oak barrel). I have tried a few different ones before and they always seem to stop working after about a year which I think is the lifespan of the motor. The first Powerbee one we received stopped working after a month(!) but with one email to the supplier a new one arrived the next day, and this has been going strong for the last 6 months. As long as it keeps going for a while longer I will be happy and probably buy another when it needs replacing. You don't seem to get a better product by spending more money. Also, it performs really well. Lots of bubbles, even when overcast. Started working straight out of the box. In the direct sunlight it really goes for it but even on an overcast winter day we were getting a small but steady stream of bubbles.

Excellent aerator for my garden pond. More powerful than the one it was replacing.. It's easy to tell that the motor is working efficiently as the vibrations are obvious when held in the hand prior to its placement in the pond.. .Bubbles away immediately .Easy to adjust for maximum efficiency. Admittedly this has only been used a short time so I cannot vouch for longevity Less than a year later , the pump is no longer working so not a particularly good buy!

Works well in the Sun, a little noisy. Would recommend though.

funciona excelente. Lo compré para oxigenar una cántara de 90lts de agua almacenada para regar, y el agua está más limpia y transparente de lo que jamás he visto. Ciertamente, el oxígeno limpia el agua. Un 10 no, un 20 le doy.

Per quanto riguarda la parte della pompa che produce l'aria, il prodotto è eccellente. Ben sigillato e funzionante anche per attività continua. Ma il pannello solare è fatto con materiali di bassa qualità. Completamente di plastica e pannello di gomma, questo è negativissimo nelle giornate estive di caldo intenso perché porta il pannello e tutta la sua struttura a temperature elevatissime rendendolo quasi malleabile, questo provoca lo spegnimento della pompa per sospensione dell'energia proveniente dal pannello. Il funzionamento riprende dopo essersi raffreddato.

Parecía que funcionaba bien, pero a las dos semanas de usarlo murió sin explicación alguna. Hasta el momento funcionaba perfectamente.

Esta muy bien para oxigenar el agua, muy facil de montar, es para poca capacidad de agua, una fuentecita peueña
