... and am very pleased with these sticks. We moved to our house last October, and we noticed that unpleasant seage smells quite often emanated from the kitchen sink. Then I stumbled upon these sticks, and had never heard of them. Read a bunch of reviews, and as it was mostly positive, I thought I'd give them a try. I purchased the lemon ones. You basically dump 1 in the sink hole once a month (I did it just before writing this review) and forget about it. Since we started using the sticks, we have not experienced the bad smells again. So they work. Before changing the stick, I checked the U bend of mysink just to check if the last 2 I have used actually disolved, since some reviews mentioned they didn't and ended up blockin their sink; and I am pleased to mention that there was nothing it mine, so they disolve as advertised. The only comment, is that I change them exactly 1 month after one another (I have a reminder in my calendar), so as there was nothing, they might last a bit less than 1 month. Regardless, we have not experienced smells, so all good. Other reviews mentioned that the sticks break easily, or were broken when recieved. Mine weren't, and I am carefull when taking them out the package. That said, once they are in the U bend, I do not think that it matters much if it is in 1 piece. Maybe small pieces might flush away with the water? So why the 4 stars only? Well, as mentioned I purchased the lemon sticks, but I cannot smell any lemon whatoever. Even when I just change it. So for me the extra £2.50 of the scented sticks are not worth it. So my next purchase will be the unscented ones. I assume they work exactly the same; I doubt that the lemn scent is what tackles the sewage smell we experienced. I guess I will review the unscented ones next year to let you know! But I would definitely recommend them!

Good product which works well for me. These get rid of the odd smells that sometimes come from old sink plumbing and hopefully help flow over time. Unfortunately Amazon don't pack these well before shipping, just popping them in an envelope. In my most recent order every single stick was broken in at least one place so you end up putting multiple stick fragments in at the same time.

These drain sticks are brilliant for keeping drains clear without any effort. I use these once a month in the kitchen and bathroom drains so one pack lasts six months, making these good value for money. I just pop a stick down the drain hole and they stay clear and drain quickly every time.

Having recently experienced a partially blocked kitchen sink, it was suggested that a more eco-friendly solution might possibly resolve the issue. Ecozone Enzymatic Drain Unblocker was purchased and used. It may have loosened a portion of whatever was causing the blockage but did not completely remove it. More caustic solutions, and less eco-friendly ones, had later been used as they had in the past to good effect. These sticks are not so much intended to unblock a sink but to help prevent it blocking up and to maintain a good flow. They are also claimed to deodorise, removing any nasty odours that may derive from any accumulations that may build up. The sticks are quite thin and they should be capable of being inserted into any sink. You use a stick each month and there are twelve in the pack, a year's worth or so they claim. The first stick had completely dissolved and disappeared within 12 hours and so appears unlikely to be able to deodorise for about a month yet alone maintain its other functions. Based upon initial evidence, there is nothing to prove any of its claimed functions. There was nothing remaining or its fragrance detected the morning after first use. Its claims may be more wishful thinking than based upon fact. Don't waste your cash!

I have suffered smelly kitchen sink drain for years and really slow to empty water. Tried these and problem solved. I know when to insert a new one as I wake up to a slight drain smell again. There isn't a fragrance given off from the product itself but that isn't necessary as what's important is it stops the drain smell. The water empties quickly now too. I will continue to buy this product as I'm really impressed - very simple, eco friendly solution. Also, others have said these arrived broken - mine were all in tact so no issues there.

I am a fan of the Ecozone range and specifically bought these due to them being non-toxic. Pros: nice smell, small size, no mess. Cons: all the sticks were broken when I opened them. This essentially means that they are probably not lodging in the drain pipe, but instead washing away entirely. As such, they are not at all effective or fit for purpose. Due to this reason I don't know if they prevent blockage or ensure cleanliness of the drain. I may try them again, but not via a delivery service, as they must be whole to work.

I bought a blue pack and an orange pack at the same time from this supplier. The blue was shipped in a paper bag with another item purchased but the sticks were mostly broken. The orange was shipped in a box with another item purchased and the sticks were all intact. I've not used the orange sticks before so hoping they hold together better, but the blue ones I have used before and halfway through the year deteriorated in the pack and broke so not sure if it's their texture that doesn't hold together well or the delivery packaging on this occasion. However, that being said, the products are good and the fact they are broken doesn't take away their effect so I will continue to buy and use these. I would recommend these.
