Q: Could you fit 4 filters on this container unit?

Those wanting to only use two filters may want to look at something else. I've been using two filters and I found out that water is getting through the seals for the other two holes. So I've spent money on this unit and have been spending money on the replacement filters every 4-5 months but the water in the bottom reservoir is contaminated.

Q: So, reading the abve, the only way to remove the fluoride is with something for Â£90 which then puts aluminium into the water instead..right??

Unfortunately yes. I bought the fluoride filters from Osmio and I have a feeling it was adding aluminium to the water even though those who make these and sell them claim it shouldn't and that if it does it would be minimal. It definitely added something to the water and quite a lot of it. I kept getting a quick build up of what seemed like limescale at the bottom of my kettle. I bought a new kettle and could see a small layer of this build up after each wash scrub an re-use. I then decided it could be something from the filter water, and after removing the fluoride filter I am no longer seeing this buildup(that thin layer) at the bottom of my kettle.

Q: Plastics/BPA on components? Does this add anything to the water. I have a latex and rubber allergy. With people saying they taste a chemical taste

The filters are ceramic. The water tastes great. I would not use if they were plastic.

Q: Does this allow me to add two addition fluoride filters and can I change the current filters to the long lasting black filters?

You can add up to four filters but they must all be of the same type, the more filters you have, the quicker the water gravity feeds through them. I don't know about black filters, never used them.
