Nice and heavy duty with plenty of accessories. We use it to cook things in large batches like sweet corn to freeze, cooking down maple syrup or if we have a bunch of family or friends around and don't want to be in or heating up the house to cook. Never actually used it as a fryer with oil but sure it would work just as fine for that. Also a good alternative if your electricity goes out and you need to cook. I feel like this is a must have for us after our last one went missing. We can't not have one on hand.

Works perfectly and better than any other single stand I have purchased in the past. The Push to light is great and it heated up much faster than my old fryer wit the same tank. Loved all the extra pots and baskets.

Easy to assemble and great quality

Did great with my deep fried turkey , and came with everything it said it would.

I do like the base of this unit, with its four legs. Each leg has a flat triangular bottom. I always set up on the lawn, away from the house. The base is very stable. Was not interested in a tripod type base, or one that use steel rod legs. This is an inherently dangerous operation. You want a stable base! I have never used the baskets, but do not see any issues with them. I really wanted a stainless steel pot, with a drain spigot, but we use this only at Thanksgiving and Christmas, to fry turkeys. Could not justify the additional expense of those options. After three seasons of use, there are some dents and slight disfiguring to the bottom of the pot. All red plastic dipped/wrapped areas are still in good condition. Electric starter still works like it did first time. It does have a guard that wraps around the burner area to help direct heat to pot, and help cut down on wind issues. One of these days I’ll drill a small hole in aluminum lid in which the thermometer can be inserted. Lid has a keyhole slot, but using it does not ensure thermometer stays in the oil. Overall, this is a decent product.

I purchased this in Jan of 2023 with some Christmas money and I just used this three weeks ago for the first time. After the second use the thermometer has cooking oil inside the glass gauge. How this got in there I have no idea. Also the thermometer is not very accurate. Secondly the red protective coating on the handles are not so protective. One burnt and was smoking from the heat of the pot. The pots both have small dents in them on the bottom as well. I would stay clear of this one.
