Are these good for a cruise?

I would certainly take this on a cruise. I bought it for my wife and was delighted with the performance and build quality. Your only query might be that you prefer a lighter pair...but it found it quite manageable with a nice case and strap.

Can you get spare eye pieces for these binoculars? I have lost one.

I do not know the answer but at the price of these I think it would be cheaper to replace the whole unit.
