This is a great beginner setup! Looks great on and fit my 8 year old perfect. Putting it on is very easy with the Velcro straps and has saved tons of time between innings. Add some knee savers and this is the most comfortable set my kid has.

Small in a good way
This set is amazing for one reason alone, it's the smallest set I could find. My 6 year old was swimming in the smallest set I could find at Dicks and this fit him perfectly. I think he could get 2-3 years out of it.

Great and worth the money. Size up though.
This is a really great set. The helmet is a little wonky for adjustments. There needs to be a longer Velcro strip or you have to crisscross them. Which is probably the case considering I didn’t read any instructions. It’s great quality and the players opted to use this over the league provided gear. My only suggestion would be to get the larger size as the chest protector is rather small even though the shin guards and helmet were perfectly sized.I grabbed the Amazon resale item to save a few bucks and bc this stuff is going to get messed up after the first use. It looked brand new when I received it. I’d recommend this set.

Quality set at a great price
Quality catchers gear, as to be expected from Wilson. I get a couple of these each year for the youth league I run and these hold up really well. Straps are easy to figure out and the size has stayed consistent throughout the years. Only downside to this set is that it doesn’t come with the little throat guard but other than that it’s rock solid.
