Is the pressed meat the same size as a burger?

Yes, you are right! The adjustable thickness design is 11cm/4.33inch. The thickness value can reach 4.2cm/1.65inch. If you have any questions about our products, please feel free to contact us. Our after-sale team is ready at any time.

Can the press form a 1/8 pound burger to make very thin burgers?

It doesn't magically form 1/8 pound, 1/4 pound, or even 1/2 pound burgers. You need to WEIGH out the meat and THEN press it. This may be too complicated of a tool for you.

Is it easy to disassemble?

I’m not sure that it disassembles. It washes easily and I believe you can put it in a dishwasher.
