Mane ‘n Tail Original Formula Shampoo, 355 ml (1-Pack)

Love this stuff. It’s one of the only shampoos/conditioners not made by big pharma. We all know how much they care for us 🤣 Thanks to Ian Carroll for making me aware of this.

This shampoo is absolutely amazing! I have been using it for a very long time. My hair is so much thicker and longer since using mane and tail products. I see people asking does mane and tail make your hair grow. Yes it does make your hair grow a lot faster. You will notice your hair growth speeding up a lot and I mean a lot! After the matter of a few months of using this shampoo alongside the conditioner. If you are trying to grow your hair I reccomend you use this shampoo and conditioner religiously. I also reccomend putting coconut oil in your hair and leaving it overnight at least once a week you can also add a few drops of peppermint to the coconut oil before applying it to your hair, peppermint encourages hair growth from the roots and helps the hair to grow faster, coconut oil strengthens the hair and reduces hair fall. You should also treat your hair to some protein every now and then I reccomend a weekly protein treatment. You could either make your own protein mask or buy a decent one if you were to buy one I would reccomend Osmo protein hair mask they sell a huge tub of it here on amazon. Or you could make your own using: *1-2 eggs *1-2 tablespoons coconut oil *1 tablespoon olive oil (optional) You apply this to your scalp and lengths and leave it for 1 hour. I would not reccomend leaving it any longer than an hour. Shampoo and condition your hair as normal after using this homemade mask. Another oil I would reccomend to you is OGX argon oil of morroco. You can use this oil after towel drying your hair it is very good at strengthening your hair. Combining the tips I have gave you with this shampoo and conditioner you can expect your hair to grow super fast. After 2 months you will see a big growth spert in your hair after doing all the things I mentioned above. Good luck.

It works perfectly. I've got Psoriasis and usually had to buy treatment shampoos, which are expensive. Since I stated using this, my hair has looked much better and I've had no trouble with my scalp at all. I vaguely remember my grandfather, who worked with horses all his life using horse shampoo and hoof cream on himself (along with coal tar soap), so I'm not sure why I didn't do this before. You might need to adjust the amounts you use, depending upon how dirty your hair is, but as long as your hair is thoroughly soaked and you swish the shampoo up in your hand with a little water first, rather than just dumping a blob on your hair, it is great, rinses easily and smells very clean and fresh. The clean feeling also seems to last longer - you wash your hair the next morning because you're in the shower and want to, not because it feels dirty and unpleasant. I have no idea whether any of the other claims made are true, but it suits my hair and scalp perfectly. Which makes a change for me. So I will be buying it again. And I know I'll always be prepared if a dirty horse wanders in the front door wanting a wash.

I’ve always had my doubts about this product as even when it’s on subscription sometimes the product is blue & other times yellow - this bottle it’s a pearly white. I am unsure therefore if it’s genuine or why the change of colour. I wasn’t originally convinced of its ability to help my hair grow, however it was put to the test when I had most of my hair cut off in 2015. It was so short I could barely even tie it up as most would fall out, not being long enough to reach the bobble, so for most of 2015 my go to look as short pig tails trying to keep my course thick hair from looking like a mushroom cloud due to the shortness combined with the thickness. I bought this shampoo out of sheer desperation because I’d heard somewhere that it was used by celebrities to help their hair grow & it was also reasonably priced, assuming it worked. So, my regular shampoo got ditched and I invested in the shampoo and conditioner combo (which incidentally also changes colour on a regular basis). I personally didn’t think much was going on growth wise, but other people started commenting on how quick my hair was growing and how shiney and good condition it looked. Granted that could have been due to me actually laying off the bleach for a while. So fast forward 3 years (one year M&T gap however) and my hair is now down to below my bra strap. Yes I’ve started colouring and bleaching again & have regular trims but certainly it’s longer than I would have expected. I also find this shampoo doesn’t fade my colour as quick as some brands too, however my hair always feels somewhat unclean when using this shampoo. I know that’s it probably because the shampoo isn’t stripping the moisture out & giving it that “squeaky clean” feeling we have come to think of as actually being clean, but it still appears to do it’s job and my hair feels smoother and isn’t as drying as some shampoos that strip the hair. I do find it’s really thick and gloopy, making it difficult to work through my thick hair without using half a bottle per wash, so i dilute it a little so it goes through my hair easier, for full head shampooing. I haven’t used it for a year due to the prices being hiked, however now it’s back down to a more reasonable rate I’ve repurchased again. If the price stays steady then I will continue to purchase.

Love this shampoo. My hair was constantly breaking, thinning, dull, frizzy, dryand put it down to my age then a friend recommended this after trying expensive options (keratin, opalex system etc) and this works amazing along with the conditioner. I've at last got my thick, bouncy, shiney and long hair back

Made my hair feel thinker with more texture but after a few washes made my hair feel brittle and chalky and made it greasier wouldn’t recommend if you wash your hair not a lot

Dieses Shampoo wird in den USA schon seit vielen Jahren gehypt, es soll Volumen verleihen und das Haarwachstum beschleunigen. Eins Vorweg....die Haare wachsen damit nicht schneller als sonst. Das Shampoo riecht nach Seife macht die haare sehr gut sauber, aber auch ein bisschen trocken. Mit dem dazugehörigen Conditioner ist es allerdings sehr gut und hinterlässt samtig weiche Haare!
