I have tried many pods over the years ranging from plain awful to very good. Caffe Borbone coffee is a level way above very good. It is truly excellent. I have only tried the Blue and Black blends, both are great. The flavour is the best I've had. Is there a downside? Yes...For some reason the flow from the Nespresso compatible pods isn't great. Very often the coffee splatters and comes out very slowly. Sometimes the coffee hardly comes out at all. When it works it's great but it amazes me how a company can shoot themselves in the foot by going to all the hard work of producing great coffee only to get the easy part so wrong. Come on, please improve the quality of the pods. I've seen other reviewers mention this so it's nothing new but it seems like the company aren't concerned which is a shame. It's still, for me, the best coffee out there though. It's worth trying but don't be surprised by the pods. Sometimes they work fine so maybe you'll get a lucky batch!

I love the taste of these, have (and will continue to) use and try other brands and flavours, but this is my 'daily go-to'. I am using these with a 'Nespresso Essenza Mini' and have never had any technical issues (I have used around 400 of these pods so far). I wished there was a better way of keeping the coffee fresh, other than using these little pouches as they are not environmentally friendly as far as I can tell. However opening them and getting this distinctly fragrant smell of coffee always puts a smile on my face. There was a high delivery charge around the time the Brexit came into effect and I stopped using these as with the delivery charge I found the product too expensive overall. However, I now find these are back to the pre-Brexit delivery arrangements (100 capsules at under £19.- and with free Amazon Prime delivery) so am happy to enjoying the Borbone brand again.

Wonderful taste and aroma. But outer packaging is very stubborn to open specially for a morning and the aluminium seal very very flimsy. Very often you will have ground coffee in your mug.

Lovely and smooth

I'm a coffee snob and have been struggling to find good coffee since I moved to the UK. This is literally the BEST coffee in capsules I could find. Arabica beans, strong creamy flavor. Way better than neepresso coffee. I can't recommend this coffee enough!!

At the time of my relocation from Naples (Italy) to UK, I was very concerned about the choice of the coffee. In the past, I always used the Moka, but I found difficult to find good quality coffee powder in UK. I found instead that Nespresso-compatible capsules were available on Amazon UK, and I did not think twice to buy them. The quality of coffee is very high. I cannot say that the espresso from these capsules is comparable with that bought in the good bar of Naples, but it is the best I could get among all the available options. Each capsule comes in a pressurised aluminium envelope that, upon aperture, release a very nice smell of coffee. The coffee prepared through the Borbone capsule is also creamy, as expected by a Neapolitan espresso. The taste of the coffee is strong but is not as intense as the coffee prepared through the Moka machine. I personally prefer these capsules to the Nespresso ones (less strong, less creamy and more expensive than the Borbone), and to the Lory (less strong, less creamy than the Borbone). I have not tried other brands of coffee pods. The shipping arrives always on time, but I would like a subscription system as available on Amazon.it. As a final remark, I bought several boxes of 100 capsules, and I found that only 3-4 capsules were not working perfectly in my Nespresso Machine (the machine kept stopping the coffee flow, due to the capsule).

As a true Italian coffee lover, I can say this coffee is very good—rich and full-bodied. I’ll definitely buy it again, as long as the price stays reasonable.

Je ne laisse que rarement des commentaires sur mes achats. J'étais à la recherche depuis longtemps d'un café qui ressemble à celui que je déguste à chaque voyage en Italie. A chaque fois que je tombe sur une nouvelle capsule ou une nouvelle marque, je ne manque pas de tester. Malheureusement souvent déçu ! Et puis je tombe sur cette marque que je ne connaissais pas. A la lecture des commentaires très divers j'ai eu une hésitation à commander et puis je me suis lancé. Un paquet de bleu et un de noir. Le conditionnement en sachet individuel permet de garder la fraicheur plus longtemps si vous n'êtes pas un grand consommateur. En ce qui me concerne cela ne changerais pas grand chose vu ma consommation ! A l'ouverture d'une capsule bleue une délicieuse odeur de vrai café Italien se dégage. Cela promet... Ma cafetière Krups n'est pas toute jeune et le café coule lentement.. une belle mousse à la surface... un nez réjouissant... première gorgée et j'ai le plaisir de retrouver tout ce que j'aime dans les expressos Italien. Force, amertume mais pas trop un équilibre parfait ! Bref j'adore ! Je goutte après le noir sensé être plus fort.. peut-être même trop. L'équilibre n'est pas aussi présent. Il est excellent mais j'avoue une nette préférence pour le bleu. Si vous êtes amateur de café lungo américain ou autres boissons délayées passez votre chemin. On est ici en présence d'un vrai café italien qui se boit en expresso ou ristretto et dans ce cas je pense qu'il s'agit d'un des meilleurs café en Capsule que j'ai bu.

El café es extraordinario, se deleita como pocos, pero…las cápsulas no siempre embonan bien con las máquinas Nespresso, no se ajustan bien y hay que jugar con ellas para que embonen. Considero que deben tratar de corregir este error, debe ser fácil para sus ingenieros. Reiteroel café es excelente.
