A MUST HAVE
Now this is a very special brand of dressing its an Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD) nicknamed the (Israeli bandage) its a specially designed, first-aid device that is used to stop bleeding from hemorrhagic wounds caused by traumatic injuries in pre-hospital emergency situations, First used for saving lives during a NATO peacekeeping operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the bandages were successfully used during operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom The emergency bandages were nicknamed "Israeli bandage" by American soldiers, and have been "the bandages of choice for the US Army and special forces. Israeli bandages were included in the first aid kits of emergency personnel and first responders at the 2011 Tucson shooting, and were used to treat some victims of the shooting. The bandage was invented by an Israeli military medic, Bernard Bar-Natan. Great product and a MUST HAVE for any First Aider or Medic, also great to pop in your Bug Out Bag or Medic Kit. Fast Postage, Great Product, Top Seller (5*****) MANY THANKS

Well packed
Can not really say how good/bad it is, fortunately did not need to use it. All I can say it came very quickly, it was well packed, and the bandage itself has a very good, sealed, vacuum packaging. Would recommend to everybody have one of this in their med kit, home, office or car first aid pack.

Good quality, from the outside looking in
I can't give 5 stars, as I have not field tested this trauma bandage, much less opened it up (to keep it sterile)... and I hope I never will. I have one unit in the first-aid kit of my car and home, etc. The way it is so solidly packed, I don't think I'll have any nasty surprises. I think it will be easy to use and do its job well, if and when the day comes. Knowing that gives me a peace of mind.

Sadly I had cause to use this when someone got hit and cut by a shard of flying metal. This dressing was over the top for the actual extent of the wound which was fairly minor however it was a sterile dressing and it was to hand so you go with what you’ve got. The wrapper is easy to open although I add zinc tape to the corner when I get them to aid opening. The inner wrapper pull apart easily. The best part of these is they have small tags which stop the bandage unrolling out of the wrapper so you can place the pad without the rest of the bandage dragging on the floor! It’s quite long and with the added pressure clip a lot of pressure can be added in the event of a catastrophic bled, not needed in my case but good to know it’s there. One could use this as a tourniquet fairly easily I would imagine but if you are in a high risk occupation like forestry etc then it’s no substitute for one in your kit.

So far so good
Well not much to say as item is inside its air tight seal so outer is all good, it’s doing its job keeping the inside sterile so so far so good :)

Trauma bandage for heavily bleeding wounds
These are trauma bandages for deep bleeding wounds like slash, puncture, stab or gunshot wounds, or if a limb or digit has been amputated. They are vacuum sealed and are sterile. They soak up a lot of blood and are designed to use pressure to stop the bleeding long enough for an ambulance to arrive and get the injured person to hospital. If the wound is bleeding heavily the bandage can be used as a tourniquet. They come in different sizes, so make sure you get the size you require. Most larger med-kits should have two of each size.

seems good but an issue
fortunately I haven't opened it but product is well sealed and I trust that on opening there would be a quality bandage inside. I do have a product issue though; it is not at all clear on the package where to open it, it does say 'tear here' but the vacuum packaging distorts it so much it is not legible and if I was the one bleeding describing to my mate where to open it would be a hindrance.
