Good quality. I used this to cut sheets of tin for several large sheds. Cut them with ease, of course started to lose its sharpness after cutting a few hundred feet of tin

Works for laminate flooring. Did two rooms easily and then it became a little blunt and started to smoke.

CS (circular saw) 185 TCT is an excellent blade. Well balanced, long lasting and good value. Tip : My finding has been that the CS blade is the same blade as the MS The only difference is the MS (Mitre Saw) has print on one side and the CS has the print on the other to aid users unfamiliar with direction of cut. Irrespective of print side, as long as the teeth face the rotation of cut they both work in Evolution saws for 185 TCT blades. Just one small point, the CS (at the time of writing) is considerably cheaper ! As these are purely my own findings and opinions, I strongly suggest other buyers do their own research before purchase. Should anyone from Evolution wish to comment on my findings or feel they need to make a correction, please feel free to do so.

Popped this in my secondhand erbaur tracksaw. Original worn blade had 48 teeth 2.2mm wide and was getting a touch dull and burning plywood up. Popped this in as a tester and it now cuts through it like a pair of scissors. I'm going to get another for my titan mitre saw.

Replacement for old blade which had worn out after 10 months of hard use. No problem with replacing with the same manufacturers blade, good quality relatively chip free and if it strikes a stray nail it’s no problem. Price excellent.

Used this to cut up some steel. Worked extremely well! I have to say, at first, I was extremely uneasy about using this to cut steel but it did the job. It does not spark when cutting and no real heat generated. The blade seems to chip away at the steel rather than actually cut it and the chips fly everywhere and quite a distance. The blade itself seems very durable. I cant stress this enough – MAKE SURE YOU WEAR THE APPROPRIATE SAFETY EQUIPMENT – I was wearing gloves and eye protection etc, but a chip still somehow flicked up behind the eye protection and into my eye! If you have not used a circular saw before also please watch some safety video’s.

I use evolution blades in my circular saw, table saw and mitre saw and I wouldn't use anything else. In the mitre saw I probably do 50/50 steel and wood but this blade for the circular saw (and the table saw) are used exclusively on wood. I say "exclusively" but there are always little surprises in old wood, most often nails! The nails will certainly slow the saw down but then you're past it and carrying on through the wood - any other blade would have thrown a shower of sparks and been too blunt to continue. One thing that did confuse me for a while was why there are apparently two very similar saw blades from Evolution with similar performance and similar product names: r185tct-20ms and r185tct-20cs... Turns out that "cs" is circular saw and "ms" is mitre saw. The only difference I can discern is that they spin in opposite directions. Great blades - highly recommended.

Work great on Aluminium but don't cut steel or they blunt in minutes. Cut the end of two M8 steel bolts and that was it - blade I'd been cutting ally with for a year went blunt instantly.
