Do you paint and then bake, sealing the colour between 2 sheets

You use these sheets like the children's hobby toy Shrinky Dinks. Apply pencil or sharpie colour to one side only , don't sandwich them together. When they shrink in the oven they curl at first then lay flat. The plastic shrinks to one third of it's size and the thickness increases up to three times. The sheets can be used to make key fobs, pendants and sun catchers

Can you use acrylic paint on this?

Possibly, I haven't got any to try it out, as long as you left it long enough to dry, should be fine

I don’t think I got instructions or I just can’t find them! What temperature and length of time do they go in the oven for?

I used this as a card ebellishment and heated the stamped and coloured piece using a "hot air gun" so am unable to help with oven settings. You might be better to look on the internet for instructions on how to use in an oven.

Can I use a regular spray varnish to seal the colour in?

What are you trying to seal the colour in? Paper fabric plaster?
