As described and up to spec, you can not ask for more.

These types of "barrel connectors" have been around for many years. But this particular model is the best I've ever used. Anyone who uses wired networks eventually comes upon a time when the cable just doesn't reach where you need it to go. Just pop one of these beauties on the short end and an extension cable into the other hole and you have a solid, trustworthy, and longer cable! The big feature of this product is the way it is built. While so many others are cheap molded plastic, these are formed inside a very sturdy aluminum body. Cables click into it tight and reliable. And, while you wouldn't do it on purpose, if someone accidentally stepped on this connector, it would stand up to the weight and pressure with no problem at all. Try THAT with a plastic one! I was so pleased with my first two, I bought two more.

It's a simple item and there is not much to review about it other than I am happy with these because they look nice and so far working great.

I haven't used these yet, but it looks and feels like a well made coupler. A metal case (aluminum it says) so it won't crack like a plastic one (and might provide some shielding over a plastic case). And plugging a cable in has a good snug fit. A great price too. Another brand (starts with a "U") that looked similar, was the same price, but you only got one. I paid $10.70 (with tax) for 2 of these. I'll use this coupler where I need to extend an ethernet cable in a pinch. I realize for long term reliability, an ethernet cable should have an unbroken run and only be terminated at routers, modems, PC's and such.

I use these for 4k POE security cameras. Excellent bitrate and power transfer.

Great product, and just what I was looking for.

Worked great to extend my cat 6 cable. It's been working for a few months now and I don't see why it wouldn't last forever.

These look well made. Yet, when we connected this coupler to our Cat 5 cable from our antenna to a new Cat 5 extension cable there was no functional connection. When we looked at how the cables seated into this connector both cables were wobbly, as though the clearances weren't precise enough. They should fit tight and snug, but they didn't. We therefore returned ours.

Good quality done the trick and doesn't seem to cause speed problems or any other problems I have used ones in the past that I could get locally in the store but weren't very good and usually they don't have them instaolk anyways
