Einhell Compound Mitre Saw 1600W 5000rpm Cutting Speed, +/-45° Mitre

I was a bit concerned it was delivered by royal mail in its original box but as I live Rural but completely unscathed, checked all the straights with my right angles and everything is bang on perfect I didn't have to adjust anything which is unusual for any make of saws, was going to get other brand names but thier prices keep escalating but I was watching the price and it stayed at this price for long enough and I'm very glad I did, I've had a Einhell sliding mitre saw before and it lasted years 👌👏 only one tiny thing screw it down on your workstation as its so powerful.

Very good quality. Essential for my van conversion, worth every penny… if your doing one… just buy it as it saves hours!!!!

I researched my buying of a mitre saw quite deeply but still think I chose the wrong one. Having said that overall this saw is not that bad that I would trash it completely. Most of the build is adequate for the niche it fills in the market i.e. home DIY . This is not a professional tool but makes the wood cutting of a home using DIY much easier and quicker. Mitres are a cinch now and butt joints, well, butt. It gives me more courage to tackle bigger projects. However, any adequate Mitre saw worth the money would have done the same thing .It is easy to use becoming easier as I become more confident. It cuts well but is limited to wood and plastics, wood being it's primary intended material. The extra supports for the cutting are handy and the work clamp, although not the sturdiest it does alright. Lots of adjustments are available but take a bit of investigation and playing with as you have it on the bench. The instructions that ship are terrible in my opinion -badly printed and explained - that's why play (careful play) is needed. No assembly needed and may be used more or less straight from the box if you know what you're doing!The down sides:1) The back stop was not at 0% as needed for 90% cuts. I had to adjust with a set square. It was around 1% out of true. Not much perhaps, but that is enough to make precision joints ugly. Easy to adjust so I'll keep an eye on.2) Hard to see where the actual cut will be made. Next time I shall get one with a laser. You can preview where the cut will be but this is a bit tedious as - with power off - you have to repeatedly drop the saw blade to your line to physically indent a saw tooth onto the work, clamp it in position again then turn the saw on again at the mains (no on/off switch on the saw which I would like to have). Not a long chore but still a chore.3) The blade guard itself feels a bit rickety to me. It is probably fine but I would have preferred a metal one.4) Forget the sawdust collection bag - waste of time.To Sum Up:Overall I believe this machine is a sensible buy for the price. It is adequate throughout in build, ease of use and for its intended market. How long will it last? I'll have to see.

Used to fit some dado rails brilliant bit of kit

Birthday gift for my husband so he can do some projects himself! He was very happy with the gift and tested it out on some wood that needed cutting. Cut very smoothly good protection guard. Loud as you would expect but did the job needed so we're happy with it for our little DIY plans.

I was building a fence and decided it would speed things up if i bought a mitre saw since there was going to be a lot of cutting. Im not someone that does DIY often (hence not already owning one) so really wasnt sure what I was going to get when I ordered.I bought this because it was cheap enough to do the job and if it didnt seem up to much after at least it had served its purpose.I have to say Im pleasantly surprised by this purchase.It set up easily, the saw cut quickly and accurately and I know this will last for many more projects. This thing made light work of many bits of fencing and managed to cut all the angles i needed.Its worth noting that the video I watched on this product page shows a different version of this (it doesnt have a laser etc) but I pretty much expected that when I bought it so I wasnt surprised but worth mentioning.Dont be put off by the price of this but instead trust the reviews.*2021 review update*Since writing this I've become a bit more of a DIY enthusiast and have installed a full kitchen and converted a huge garage into an office/gym. This saw has been vital for it all and it held up very well. If and when it breaks, I'll get another.

Purchased item was delivered on time and sufficiently packaged. Initial assembly was problem free and I mounted and secured the saw to a substantial working base. First and subsequent wood cuttings proved very satisfactory albeit I now wish that I had ordered the laser guided cut version. Line of sight alignment can be somewhat, but slightly, off measure. Nevertheless, am pleased with this item but would recommend other buyers go for the more expensive laser guided item.

Broke after half an hour of light use the saw it’s self is powerfull but part broke off

Wszystkie elementy bardzo dobrze wykonane i spasowane. Tnie bardzo precyzyjnie i bez większych problemów. Tarcza ostra i rzaz jest nie poszarpany. Jedyny problem jest przy odprowadzaniu odpadów po cięciu .Tutaj trzeba coś nad tym popracować ponieważ jak by nie kombinował to odpady nie wpadają na pewno do worka. Nawet stosują odkurzacz do odsysania to i tak nie poprawia to sytuacji. Wszystko ląduje dookoła piły a nie w worku czy odkurzaczu.
