Epaderm Emollient For Dry Skin - 500g

We bought Epaderm Emollient for my mother’s legs, as she suffers from poor circulation and extremely dry skin. We are really pleased with the results. The cream has no perfume, feels very gentle on the skin, and keeps her legs moisturised throughout the day.The texture is quite rich and thick, but it spreads easily and a small amount goes a long way. The jar lasts a long time, which makes it great value for money. Her skin feels much softer and more comfortable after using it regularly. Our jar is almost finished, but we will definitely buy it again. It has become an essential part of her skincare routine.

I’ve tried so many products on my legs. They’re not quite strawberry skin damage but do look very dry and snake skin like. Nothing worked or eased the itchiness especially in the heat. Used several times and skin feels and looks better already. Hoping over weeks and months the skin barrier completely repairs.

Was prescribed this by an NHS dermatologist as having the minimum number of components to do the job while avoiding any adverse effect from non essential ingredients. Takes a little getting used to the first couple of uses, as a tad firmer than some of the more greasy products, but ultimately not a problem, and even works well to do a little massage while applying.

Epaderm is a good and reliable emollient. I’ve used it for over two years and it keeps the skin soft and less irritated. However, contrary to what the label might suggest, it does not cure or treat psoriasis. It helps with dryness, but that’s all.

Excellent for washing very sensitive areas with, very soothing & good at keeping the skin supple. Highly recommend!!

I hope this helps one person! I thought I was at the end of my life. Adult female (not that this matters as skin conditions don't discriminate) with no allergies or skin conditions. Over my lifetime I have mixed and matched everyday creams/oils/lotions/soaps without any issues. Dry skin here and there but nothing worth investigating or too noticeable. Used cheap to drugstore to luxury brands plus 100% oils such as coconut etc. I eat anything. I am 34. It all started as a slightly noticeable itchy scratch behind my knee. I thought a patch of dry skin whatever and applied whatever lotion I felt like on that day. It became intense but again I thought nothing much of it! Next thing I know I had the most severely itchy rash under armpits, behind both knees, inner elbows and yes... all over my downstairs region from front to back! It was horrendous! I was using ice packs from the freezer for instant relief and over the counter antihistamines NOTHING worked. I even tried an anti fungal pill from the local pharmacy. GP thought it was flexural eczema as it was only in folds. Prescribed steroid cream and off I went. Next few days later thing the rash spread all over my body. The most disgusting intense feeling I have ever had. I hate to admit it but I was almost at the end. It was like my brain was affected and depression hit as I gave up. Sleep? NO, felt like a thousand needles all over. Bedding felt horrendous/t shirts felt horrendous. NOTHING WORKED. Went to A&E had IV with steroid/antihistamine and painkillers . Came home and ordered this tub of cream. WOW it might have been starting to die off anyway but this really helped. I spent a small fortune on creams and lotions ( dream cream from lush is nice and plain old vaseline) . I dug into the tub for days on end. **Please be careful around flames and look the ingredient up** . I will add what I did on the road to recovery after my hospital visit. I didn't shower often! I had a bird bath (bits) and lathered this on. It was never found out what I had. I thought of skin issues previously as nothing, I was ignorant. It is debilitating and life changing. What had I done differently? The only thing I can think of it diet! I went plant based for almost a month. Not processed literally vegetables and normal family meals just with veg in place of meat. Was this a reaction? I will never know but I also started to go back to normal eating straight away too. Whatever it was ruined my life for SIX weeks. My skin barrier was damaged for about THREE weeks and I have scarring on my abdomen from the rash - like skin pigmentation marks that could pass as birth marks. This may fade or it may not. If you are reading this and have a similar issue, is it eczema or diet or touched something or ate something WHATEVER IT IS - IT WILL PASS! It is a journey.

Excellent cream for my dry skin. It doesn’t soak in so quite greasy. But well worth putting up with.

I use this on my feet, works great. I was told about this from some Nurses few years ago and used since. Helps keep my skin soft.

ES muy buen producto para la piel delicada. Pero en esta ocasion no me ha llegado el producto y parece ser que esta retenido en Aduanas. No sé como reclamarlo.
