Wasn't sure about this flavour (I already like/use GU products) but after reading a review that said they were good, I went for it. The reviewer was right, they are actually very nice on the palate and as usual are good for their main purpose of keeping me upright and moving!

I started using chocolate GU as fuel for long runs only quite recently having been looking for an alternative to traditional fruit flavour gels for a long time, which I find difficult to get down, although it's worth it if you can do it. Chocolate gel seemed likely to be even more nausea-inducing, but in fact I found the opposite was true of chocolate GU, and I was able to have them at regular intervals throughout a recent marathon and finished in much better shape than I expected. I will definitely be using them again.

Taste is surprisingly pleasant, and lots of calories for a small pack, so easy to carry around for long runs / endurance events. My fav energy gel by far.

Absolutely delicious- although I did need a sip of water to get down. Definitely give you a boost of energy and definitely recommend.

Great to be able to buy these in bulk and have my home looking like a shop... if the other flavours were cheaper though I would go for the caramel or the espresso.

The Gu was very good value for money and arrived sooner than I expected. I will be re ordering.

My favorite flavour, and cheaper here than elsewhere on the net. Not too sweet, can be a bit gloopy when cold though.

The energy gel tastes really good, thick chocolate, works well (give energy boost), and pleasant to consume during running.

Yummy! I’m a chocoholic and this tastes great - like good chocolate pudding. No weird after taste. Easy to open and eat out of the package. Seems to work well and give me the boost I need. Does have caffeine in it but about the same amount as decaf coffee/tea. I only drink decaf so I did my research.

I never had gels while running marathons. I was suggest GU Energy Gel n I’m so happy I tried them! Super yummy and gave me the energy I needed it. Will definitely buy again. Great Product

Très satisfaite de cette découverte ! Effectivement je reprend le sport plus intensivement et je pensais opter pour des collations faites exprès pour le sport. J’ai toujours eu peur d’avoir des douleurs à l’estomac ou de digestion avec des aliments concentrés comme ça, et bien non, tout est beau. En me fiant aux commentaires, j’ai acheté celles au chocolat et je ne suis pas déçue. C’est un bon goût de chocolat, ni trop sucré, ni amer, non vraiment, c’est très bon ! J’en rachèterai, c’est certain !! Fait bien la job pendant des longues sorties à vélo (100km +) en ce qui concerne les apports nutritifs. Après, il faut pas oublier de boire de l’eau pendant les entraînements, ça ça reste un supplément.
