C920 HD Pro Webcam - Black

I bought this webcam to replace my old logitech one which was broken after many years of loving use. I was not disappointed. The product was slightly over packaged in my opinion and was not the easiest to un-package, however, it was well worth the extra effort. Pros - The clarity, crispness and quality of the video feed/photos are incredible. Stylish design, not too large/bulky. Tripod screw for attaching it to your favourite tripod. Beautiful blue LED light to let you know when your webcam is in use by an application. Great microphone/sound for videos. Lovely lighting & colour balance - The webcam performs wonderfully in low lighting and spectacularly in good lighting Fully adjustable settings via Logitech webcam launcher application to ensure you get the exact picture colour etc. that you want. Very sturdy when on the top of a thin laptop screen due to the grips on the base. Feels luxurious and premium in regards to quality of materials used to make it and in terms of weight. Cons - The "mirrored" setting you would expect to be able to use as per standard with all webcams is only able to be used on certain settings with this webcam. I have not found out entirely why that is yet, however, you can get around that via opening an application such as skype and fiddling with the settings on there once you have your main settings set up to your preferences. My main uses - Skyping my family back home and my friends here in the UK, Video diaries, some pictures occasionally. Conclusion - I highly recommend you try out this webcam, it was worth the money for me. Any down sides it may possibly have are easily worked around so that they are no longer a downside. I am really glad I now own it! - If you are still in doubt after reading reviews, go on youtube and see the video reviews, they helped me to decide alongside online reviews !

When planning to produce some online courses, I splashed out on a semi-decent camcorder to do re talking head shots, but I found the messing about popping memory cards out of the cam, and into the PC, them importing the second media into the timeline and syncing it all up (over and over again) a little...cumbersome. Not to mention the real estate a cam tripod (even a small one) takes up your desk. It was a choice between this and the similarly priced Microsoft one, so I studied the youtube reviews, and this one won out, so I got one. First thoughts are it's tiny, but beautiful to look at. Despite its size, it still feels really well made. The mount looked a little confusing, but when you put it atop your monitor it becomes obvious how it functions, and works really well. For those who want it, the mount also comes with a standard screw fitting for tripod mounting. Win 8.1 detected it, and installed the drivers in a minute or so, but I also downloaded the Logitech software from their site to get the tools to to play with resolution and what not. The first thing I noticed was the field of view on this is huge. So much so, that I turned it from 1080, to 720 to avoid recording the whole room. That done, you can then zoom in, pan left and right until you get the perfect head shot...nice. As this pipes straight into your PC, my screencast software (Camtasia) records the cam simultaneously, so all my sync problems were solved automatically. Problem solved. The recordings appear crisp and clear whatever the lighting conditions, and there is no stutter or judder whatsoever. The sound is reasonable, but I pipe the audio from a Blue Snowball (which is better). I know it's pricy, but the quality is great. There is a reason that this is the best selling webcam in the world.

Best webcam on the market so they say, so I bought it. The picture quality is awesome, even if you don't have proper lighting, you can adjust the settings using the software that comes with it (plug and play). I'm using windows 7 64 bit ultimate and am having no trouble with this at all. So why 4 stars? It might just be me, but I don't like the quality of the onboard microphones. They're good for normal chatting to the camera style, but pretty usless if you're playing music or have other sounds in the background. But I didn't buy this for the sound, I bought it for the picture, and at 1080p quality, it's well worth the £47.99. Shame I can't have that same 1080p quality when using a usb extender cable, but then that's to be expected. Great for streaming, or 'talking to your pc screen'.

Great 1080p video, good auto focus. Works relatively well in low light but excels with good lighting. The software is really good too, very simple to use. Hardly effects CPU performance when recording full 1080p. The microphone is actually pretty good. Not as good as a headset etc but very clear. It seems expensive for a webcam but it's well worth it. Buy the best & you won't need a new one for ages!

Fed up with my laptop’s pathetic, allegedly ‘HD’ webcam, I decided to give the C920 a go. What a difference! It’s by far and away the clearest webcam I’ve ever used. The images are crystal clear, it responds well to changing light, has a decent dual microphone setup, and feels incredibility sturdy for something so small. On the downside, the autofocus isn’t spectacularly quick, but is more than acceptable. Also, whilst the angle of pitch can be changed, you would need to attach it to a tripod in order to turn it left and right.

I bought this in order to use at work for video conferencing. The image quality is very good indeed and the camera has a reasonably wide field of view, making it ideal when you need to show several people on camera at a time. What I particularly like about it is the fact that it requires no driver disk (just connect it up and Windows automatically and quietly installs the correct driver) and it doesn't come with any bloatware. Some of my earlier webcams insisted on installing all kinds of junk which run at startup which I hated.

Good Webcam it works very well, BUT if your expecting to use the video effects, you will be disappointed, the reason for the 4 stars, it doesn't do what you expect, reading the reviews afterwards this has caught a lot of people out, the reason for no effects is that logitech have updated the software, but guess what it doesn't support the video effects. There is way around this, is to make sure that you only download the older software, before the latest. Logitech need to get there act together, otherwise there will be a lot sending there's back to Amazon, and quite rightly too. Keeping to the older software might be ok, fingers crossed, but if you experience any problems you might need to download the latest software, therefore losing the effects, your choice.

This is a superb Webcam for picture quality and cannot fault it in anyway other than the build in microphone, which is ok. This is to be expected as this Webcam is all about picture quality not audio. For me this is fine as I intend to use a Blue Yeti for my Audio once I get the cash to spend. This is currently the best webcam in its sub £150 class and will recommend it for anyone wishing to do Vlogs on a tight budget.

Ich bin kein Experte was Videotechnik und Webcams anbelangt. Da meine alte Logitech-Webcam aus dem Jahr 2003 nicht mehr unter Windows 7 funktionieren wollte, war ich auf der Suche nach einer neuen Webcam für die Verwendung mit Skype, welche die folgenden Kriterien erfüllen sollte: - eingebautes Mikrofon (da ich mir dies sonst hätte extra kaufen müssen; aufstellen und verkabeln,...) - Autofokus - HD-Auflösung - Befestigungsmöglichkeit auf dem Monitor Mit der C920 bin ich sehr zufrieden. Überraschend gut ist die Aufnahmequalität der zwei Mikrofone (tatsächlich ein bisschen stereo). Auch wenn der Gesprächspartner über die Lautsprecher recht laut eingestellt wird, filtert das System die Rückkopplungen zuverlässig und sauber raus (ich hatte früher immer ein Headset benutzt, das ist nun ein völlig neues Erlebnis ohne Headset in noch besserer Qualität zu telefonieren; sieht natürlich auch besser aus). Ebenso bin ich von der Qualität des Bildes sehr angetan. Auch bei geringer Beleuchtung liefert die Webcam ein tolles Bild (war für mich auch wichtig). Bei guter Beleuchtung wird das Bilder nochmal beser. Der Autofokus funktioniert schnell und sehr gut. Auch habe ich die zur Webcam gehörende Software von Logitech installiert. Ich finde, dass die recht einfach bedienbar ist und einige nette zusätzlich Funktionalitäten ermöglicht, unter anderem - Gesichtsverfolgung (wählt man eine niedrigere Auflösung als die maximal mögliche, so kann die Webcam das Gesicht in einem bestimmten Winkelbereich verfolgen und immer in die Mitte rücken; das funktioniert voll automatisch ohne dass man die Cam erst auf das Gesicht "kalibrieren" muss) - lustige Videoeffekte (u.a. kann man sich digital eine Krone aufsetzen lassen, hat einen Bart oder oder oder; kann man online sehr viele Erweiterungen herunterladen) - das ist natürlich nur Spielerei, ist aber für den einen oder anderen Spaß durchaus geeignet - Videomasken (man kann damit auch ein beliebiges Porträt verwenden und dann werden die eigenen Augen und Lippen da "reinbebastelt" und können bewegt werden) - Bewegungserkennung (z.B. zur Überwachung eines Raumes) Mich persönlich stört die Software nicht. Standardmäßig geht die Konfigurationssoftware stets bei Verwendung der Webcam auf, z.B. wenn man über Skype ein Videotelefonat startet, damit man die Einstellungen ggf. anpassen kann. Eigentlich recht nützlich und man kann das auch abstellen. Die Webcam vom Design her gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Diese eckige und flache Form passt prima zum Monitor (irgendwie sind fast alle anderen Webcams rundlich, was mir vom Design her nicht sonderlich gefällt). Wirkt irgendwie sehr "seriös" und "business-mäßig". Was ich auf keinen Fotos der C920 entdecken konnte: Die Kamera hat zwei bläulich-leuchtende Halbkreise rechts und links von der Linse (ähnlich wie die C910, davon gibt's Fotos bei Amazon), die standardmäßig dann leuchten, wenn die Cam aktiv ist (kann man aber auch über die Software deaktivieren oder auch permanent leuchten lassen). Sieht sehr chick aus und gibt einem das Gefühl zu wissen, wann die Cam aktiv ist (z.B. man nicht vergessen hat den Videochat zu beenden). Von meiner Seite aus: Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Alors forcément chère pour ce que c'est mais la qualité bien réellement présente. Super qualité d'image et de multiples mode de fixation (même poser a plat) la qualité audio que je recherchais particulierement et vraiment excellente. Rien a dire je recommande ce produit.

L'ultima webcam che ho acquistato prima di questa era in grado di produrre un immagine di 300px in larghezza al massimo, era come vedere attraverso uno spioncino. La tecnologia da allora si è evoluta tremendamente, e questo prodotto ne è la prova. Immagine nitida, quasi incredibile per una webcam, l'audio è cristallino (sebbene registri un po' troppi rumori) e la voce è nitida e chiara se l'interlocutore si trova ad una distanza non eccessiva dalla webcam. Ottima la fattura e la gomma del piede è fatta per durare. Si riesce facilmente a montare su qualunque monitor e si può comodamente regolare in alto ed in basso una volta montata (la parte superiore ruota su un perno). Peccato non si possa regolare anche a sinistra e a destra, purtroppo bisogna spostare il monitor o... Grazie al software fornito si può ritagliare ed ingrandire l'immagine in modo tale da evitare di mostrare cose indesiderate alla webcam. Sì! Funziona anche con Skype quest'ultimo dettaglio. Non mi piace il punto da cui esce il cavo che lo rende d'intralcio quando la si vuole riporre; per dimensione e per l'ultimo motivo citato, risulta poco adatta al trasporto e alla mobilità, ma nulla che non si possa aggirare con una buona custodia/borsa. Una vera bellezza sia come capacità, sia come estetica, sia come fattura. 5 stelle con lode.

La Logitech C920 HD Pro Webcam funciona perfectamente. La calidad de imagen es muy buena para videollamadas o grabaciones y la instalación es muy sencilla, conectar y listo. Después de usarla bastante tiempo solo puedo decir que estoy súper contenta con el resultado. Muy recomendable. 📷
