Solgar Gentle Iron 20 mg Iron Bisglycinate, 180 Vegetable Capsules

I’ve been very pleased with Solgar Gentle Iron (Iron Bisglycinate) 20 mg. The main reason I chose this one was because it’s designed to be gentle on the stomach, and it really lives up to that claim. Unlike other iron supplements I’ve tried, this one hasn’t caused constipation or stomach discomfort, which makes it much easier to take consistently. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I appreciate that they’re vegan, gluten-free, and clearly well made. The 180-capsule pack is excellent value and lasts a long time, which is ideal for regular supplementation. These are without doubt gentler than most but I still get stomach trouble using them, where with Spatone I don’t at all. They’re better than most but not the best.

I started taking these because I wasn’t sure I was getting enough iron from my diet and wanted to give my body a bit of extra support. No upset stomach, no nausea, no constipation. I’ve had no issues at all. Good so far cheap value for money

I originally started taking these because I was feeling tired and my hair had become noticeably thin, while my nails were peeling and very brittle. My blood tests were technically within the normal range, but my iron levels were very low. I started taking one tablet every other day and took it with vitamin C to help with absorption. Since supplementing, my iron levels are now in a really good range, my hair is growing back and my nails are noticeably stronger and healthier. I genuinely feel like a new woman! One tip I found useful is to avoid caffeine and dairy around the time you take iron, as they can interfere with absorption. I leave around two hours either side to give it the best chance of being absorbed. For me, these have made a huge difference

Excellent product quality as i was really feeling down n tired weak n pain in my body and after I realised my iron count was low and I have took it for nearly 15 days n above and I am definitely much better and more active and able to do all my work thank you Solgar and thank you Amazon for this wonderful product

I’m glad to have these and it’s good to know that they will not give me any problem with constipation like a lot of iron supplements do These are gluten-free and wheat free also which is a huge plus for me since I am celiac. They are not a huge capsule and they are easy to swallow

As described I have no stomach problems with this product where as Doctor prescribed Iron tablets caused me lots of problems
