This is a fabulous item. I got the solar power version so no charging. There were some reviews that talk about pairing being tricky. It was initially, however, as long as your in the app and on the scales screen when you turn the scales on, it pairs instantly every time. This is once you’ve initially set it up. I’ve been using this for about 10-12 weeks. It shows your progress and you can view different stats like, BMI, fat, muscle, bone density etc. I’m 51% into my journey to target weight, the weekly weigh in has helped me stay focused and on track.

I do question the body fat % a little, but for the price it's never going to be 100% accurate and only through your feet too. The app is great, so helpful for tracking progress. Weighing seem consistent and accurate.

The scales are great - and never need batteries. I have mine in a light bathroom but away from direct sunlight and they still hold full charge well. Bluetooth doesn't connect every time. Sometimes you have to unload the app on the phone and restart the app - sometimes one or two times but this seems to fix it. The scales are great, the data syncs with Apple Health, you can track your weight journey easily and track trends if you weigh regularly. I weigh every day and the app shows me my progress over time. You can add other family members to the app and track their weights also. When my wife weighs herself (and is not interested in tracking her own weight but wants me to track it for her) i find that when I open her profile the app will import her data. The scales remembers her weight from previous times she has weighed and then silently transmits her data to the app when I connect to the app while weighing myself. The app also "intelligently assigns" her data to her profile - as it can tell the difference between as we are different weights. This is quite neat the way it works. Overall I love the scales - amazing value for money and the app is excellent.

This has been working well for the last six months. The app is easy to use and it integrates well with Google fit.

Had this product for a short time, it papers to work ok. But fails after 2 months use. This unit will not powers up or charge up. Not very promising. Trued support no response, will continue to await and see what happens.

Really good and accurate, been using fpor a year now and it never dissapointed me all this time.

The scales work fine but the app they say to download doesn’t connect to the scales so if you are buying scales to connect with a phone, don’t choose these

I’m really impressed with these scales. They’re quite small. The Solar panel charging is a game changing feature. They’re easy to use and pair. The quality for the price is exceptional, you’d expect smart scales to cost more. They easily link to Apple Health via the Renpho app. The accuracy is precise and I tested them against my old non-smart scales to see this for myself as I’d heard others saying that they were not.

Constistent in the whey it shows. Seems accurate. Doesn’t need much sun to recharge. However, the fat/muscle/tissue measurements are bs. It is so off. During the last 6 months I have gone from 25-30% body fat to about 12%. The scale says 21-22%, it has been saying the same % since I bought it even though I made a total body transformation in the meantime.

This is my fourth or fifth Renpho product. It's safe to say I trust them. I purchased this scale to replace a USB-rechargeable scale (not made by Renpho) that I bought a few years ago. The USB was a hassle, and the app was loaded with annoying ads. When I recently tried to use the scale, I discovered that it was no longer syncing to Google Fit. The warning from Google suggested that the app tried to access data it shouldn't access, so I'm done with it. This solar-powered scale is great, because it's just going to work all of the time without needing to be recharged. It's solid and feels sturdy, and the display is easy to read. The Renpho app is also great, because it doesn't have ads and doesn't try to scrape my data from Google. But more than that, it does a really good job of displaying weight and BMI data in a meaningful way. Amusingly, you can set different sounds for when your weight goes up/down or stays the same. You can also add other Renpho Bluetooth devices to the app, such as a blood-pressure monitor.
