Can you take your bike off easily or do you have to disassemble everything

Depends on the bike. I use my wife's bike permanently. It has a lower cross bar, so I can swing my leg over. The Trainer clamps the rear axle and you can adjust for wheel size. I also disconnect the rear brake, or don't try to use it in motion. Takes about 10 minutes to set up, but is quite secure once done. I like the magnetic rear roller which you can adjust tension with the hand control. I am happy with the trainer. Good Luck.

Will this work with a single speed bike that doesn't have a quick release on the rear wheel?

hi Andrew, it will work fine, but you may have to fit larger nuts on the rear axle to make up the distance between the stand clamp & axle, i did! work fine & stable, i'm well happy with mine! good luck,, julien.

Does this work with a fixed rear wheel (i.e. NOT quick release)?

Yes it will - relies on a clamp holding the rear wheel spindle

I have a giant contend 1 using giant sr2 700 c wheels, will this go straight onto the trainer or do i need a different axle like some trainers do ?
