The cable’s build quality is impressive; even after more than three years of regular use (plugging in and out and even moving house!), it remains in excellent condition. The cable’s high-speed capabilities made me experience seamless and uninterrupted video and audio transmission between my devices. I knew I was breaking all the rules when I installed this 7.6m cable between my Panasonic bluray player and my projector because of its length. But I'm pleased to say it's working perfectly transmitting 4k 24p and 1080p 24p 3D digital streams between the two devices perfectly with no picture or sound issues. The cable is quite thick (as expected for such a spec) and should be supported to avoid putting any strain on the connectors which fit the sockets comfortably. I'm delighted with the performance and once again an Amazon Basic product has fulfilled its promise at a very reasonable price.

Bought for use on a couple of older consoles where 4k compatibility wasn't an issue. Do the job perfectly, no issues at all.

Recently, I went and brought myself a new Win 10 Pro PC -(as my previous PC had broken down)-. Normally, I would use a VGA leads to connect between HDD/monitor screen; however, I heard of this brand new HDMI technology leads(they say it carries far better sound/graphics)...so, decided to try using that, instead. -(I recall visiting Brixton's branch of Curry's in London, UK; and, the HDMI leads cost like £20.00; so, when I saw the Amazon offer of HDMI leads for under a fiver...I was amazed; and, simply, could not resist but to go 'try it'. Of course, you do wonder if buying 'cheap' stuff is going to work or not...?!)- I must say I'm most deeply impressed; first of all, sticking in the HDMI leads on both ends to PC/Monitor was really simple...; unlike the rather fiddly VGA leads where you have to carefully screw things in...the HDMI leads just simply plugs in on both ends rather smoothly. They said the graphics quality/speed would be better...yes, I think, that is true, too; because when I turned back on the computer -(having discarded the VGA leads)-; I did a right mouse click on Win 10 Pro Desktop...and, then, selected: Display options...and, was confronted with more graphic screen size options than were in that same menu before. I'm not saying, though, that I'm a computer electrician who understands exactly what is superior about these new HDMI leads; as a mere ordinary computer user/and, therefore, layman, all I can quite honestly say is the leads are exceedingly simple to attach/and, also, look to be of good strong quality; also, everything in terms of graphics display/sound is working just fine...I'm using a 50 inch Digihome TV Smart Screen as computer monitor, btw./along with a pair of external speakers. ----- NOTE: On setting up the TV, I had to use the DigiHome Remote Control to change over 'source'...before the selected source was: VGA/PC; then, I changed this to become HDMI 1(didn't work?!)/so, I selected HDMI 2, instead, as source...Eureka! Computer desktop image, quite suddenly, appeared...! ;-)
