Great for automating exterior lighting.
Using with Home-Assistant and HomeSeer Smart Stick. Works great both when automated and manually. Noce that you can turn on one or both outlets in different combinations.

Great, super fast dual outdoor Z-wave plug, which control separate from each other
Love this plug! To be clear, I only just installed it today. I have a Hubitat hub, which I use with Home Assistant, and it has official support for the Zen 14, so was easy. I started as I always do by โexcludingโ it, which literally took it less than a second. Then I put the hub in inclusion, and it did in less than 20 seconds. I think itโs the fastest Z-wave pairing Iโve ever done. Then I named the whole plug (Outdoor Plug 2) and saved. Then it shows in Device names as the named whole device, with daughter plugs named long string of gobbelety gook. But you just tap on each one, go into Device Info, name as desired (Deck Lights 2A and Deck Fountain 2B for me) and put any reminder notes you want and Save each one. Voila! Now they show up on my Device button page with real names, and the response to commands is instant, no lag at all, even though plugged in outside under a deck, about 65โ from the Hubitat. The only thing left to do is put the lights in to my Outdoor Lights routine, which may be a little more work doing an โANDโ routine, since all my other lights are on dimmers, not switches. So that will take me at least 2-3 minutes ๐

90ยฐ flush fit.
Zooz offers great functionality in my Hubitat Elevation hub. I particularly like this smart plug, since the plug itself fits flush into an outlet at 90ยฐ.

Unlike Zooz to be a little flakey
This was really easy to pair with Hubitat. However, each plug operates as a "child" device of the unit. Although this is a long range Z-wave device, it doesn't always respond. Sometimes both plugs work sometimes the left one only. I have tried different rules, manual digital activations and even the manual button. After a couple of days, it seems to work most of the time. I have two units, a total of fur plugs, to operate our outside Christmas lights. Some strings don't always work. :( Sometimes they do. Most of my other Zooz devices work great. I recommend this device, but just know it might be flakey. If you get one, return it before you toss the box.

Up and running with Smartthings in 2 minutes - Super easy setup
After struggling to pair a meross outdoor dual outlet with Smarthings, I gave up and looked for a Z-wave device. Zooz was listed as a partner with Smartthings so I gave it a try. It couldn't be easier to pair. I opened up the 2-step instructions, plugged it in, went into Smartthings to Add with QR Code, scanned the code, pushed the button on the Zooz outlet, and BANG it was connected. I went from opening the box to setting a new Smartthings routine in less than 15 minutes. OUTSTANDING DEVICE!

Doesn't Stay Connected to Smartthings
I purchased this to replace a 7 year old GE Outdoor Zwave switch that controlled my Christmas lights. I am not able to keep the Zooz ZEN14 connected to my hub to save my life. I can reset the device and add it to my Smartthings hub but after a short while, the device shows offline. I have other Z-Wave devices with no issues that are within 10 feet of this switch. I figured it might be because of the temperature, but when I bring the device inside and it warms up, it doesn't work until I reset it and re-add it to the hub. I have downloaded the Zooz driver channel to my Smartthings hub and installed the ZEN14 multi-switch driver but it has not changed the behavior. This will be going back.

Good product at first but didn't last nearly as long as I hoped.
I purchased this product in Oct 2024. It installed to my Home Assistant quite easily and has been great. I use it during the winter mostly, to control a couple of strings of LED Christmas lights, nothing too crazy. I did like having the ability to control the switches separately. The button on the unit works for only one of the outlets but it is lit, so that's nice. Fast forward 1 year and 2 months--Dec 2025 and one of the outlets quit working. It reports to Home Assistant but does not physically operate. I rate 2 stars for-- 1. I expected longer life out of this (i have a similar outdoor switch from different brand that I've been running for 5+ years, right next to it). For the price, seems like it should have lasted longer. 2. If one outlet dies, it should not give me a false positive thru the z-wave interface. This tells me there's not any actual feedback loop. I'm not plugging in critical piece of equipment or anything, but still. For the price, seems like there should be. 3. It's only an annoyance, but clicking the physical button on/off only actuating one of the outlets is well, annoying. Final thought: I've experienced some quality issues with some other ZOOZ switches (indoor) recently, so I'd have a hard time recommending this brand to anyone.

Works well in cold places
I immediately put this out in the chicken run and configured my smart hub to turn it on when the temperature got below freezing so it would keep the water Dishes from icing. You can control each outlet separately. It's been working perfectly ever since. Temperatures have gone down into the minus double-digits multiple times already, and some days the same in the positives. Makes no difference. I will definitely buy these again when I find other uses. Maybe if I expand my outdoor Christmas lights.

Doesn't work properly
Although it's advertised a 2 controllable outlets, only 1 is controllable from home automation software. Going in circles with support, Zooz tells me it's an automation software problem, and home automation software vendor says it's a Zooz problem. Either way, lots of wasted time and it won't work. (I've been doing home automation for > 10 years, this product has a problem). I'll return and buy a different brand. Can't trust vendor's website where they say it's certified with various HA software - they don't even have the software in house to test it! That's misleading when they claim compatibility.
