Must admit I was highly dubious about this, almost sure it would not work. But, even after changing wiper blades I was still getting that annoying squeek when in use so I thought it worth a try. It really works, so easy to clean the windscreen now, the water practically drains off and no more annoying squeek when the wiper blades are in use. Colour me impressed. Very easy to apply though after washing the screen I did use a clay bar. Let the screen dry properly then apply, leave for a short while then polish off, brilliant. Can't speak for the longivity, I will update here, as I have only had it on for three or four weeks so far. UPDATE AS PROMISED : Now nearing the end of February and although still OK on my car I think it needs renewing on my wifes. Her car is the one we use mostly as it's an estate and we have had an awful lot of rain since I first applied this and while the side windows are still excellent both the front and the rear screens are not claring anywhere near as well as they did. So thats nearly five months before needing replacing, can't complain at that and I'm not :-)

I've been using this for years and I've not found a product that beats it for performance and ease of use. Lasts for at least 10-12 months so great value for money and longevity, application is simple and smear free, helps to clear spray and heavy rain alike

Lasts a lot longer than rain x and produced 0 wiper judder. 1 bottle felt like it would do my car twice, so it’s a lot more expensive but you only have to do it 2 or 3 times a year. For context, rain x used hardly any product but only lasts a week or 2.

Very easy to apply, I would suggest ensuring the glass has any previous coating removed and is meticulously cleaned this will ensure the product gives the best experience and durability. I wouldn’t apply in the colder weather as it takes 12 hours to fully cure. Once it fully cures the hydrophobic properties are amazing, if properly applied the water just sheets off.

Works very well, but not good for windscreen wiper motors! I had to remove this, because it was causing stress to the point my car logged it as a fault due to the juddering of the wipers and the force fed back to the motor! Otherwise this does work so well! I’m so sad I had to remove this!

I have tried it in my back windshield, after having cleaning and drying it. Follow exactly the instructions on the product box, it did not work. I can't recommend it

Zum allerersten Mal überhaupt habe ich mich an eine Versiegelung der Pkw-Scheiben herangetraut und ich bin einfach nur restlos begeistert! Das Produkt ist wirklich einfach zu verarbeiten und auf der Verpackung mit japanischer Schrift ist sogar eine Anleitung auf Deutsch aufgeklebt (zumindest bei der Bestellung über amazon). Was mit das Wichtigste überhaupt ist: die Scheibe muss zunächst sehr sorgfältig gereinigt werden; selbst kleinste Schmutzpartikel und z.B. Fliegenreste sollte penibel entfernt werden. Und lieber 2-3 Mal mehr über die Scheibe gehen mit einer jeweils sauberen Tuch-Lage. Die Reinigung funktioniert mit einem handelsüblichen Glasreiniger sehr gut und eigentlich auch schnell. Im Anschluss wird die Versiegelung mit kreisenden Bewegungen aufgebracht. Hierbei ist zu beachten, dass wirklich jede Stelle der Scheibe erwischt wird. Zu den Rändern hin habe ich vorsichtig und mit ein klein wenig Abstand (vielleicht 0,5 cm) gearbeitet, damit es nicht an den Kunststoff / Lack / Gummi gelangt. Das Aufbringen klappt einwandfrei dank des Filz. Das Produkt ist übrigens flüssig und verteilt sich dadurch sehr gut. Nach dem Aufbringen entsteht ein weißlicher Film auf der Scheibe. Nach der angegebenen Ablüftungs/Einwirkungszeit (ca. 15 min) entfernt man den angetrockneten, weißlichen Film mittels eines Microfasertuches. Das geht sehr einfach und richtig gut, man muss nur normal wischen und es ist kein besonderer Kraftaufwand erforderlich. Danach sieht die Scheibe bestens aus und glänzt meinem Gefühl nach auch einen Tick mehr als sonst. Ich habe übrigens alle Scheiben am Auto behandelt. Dies im Wechsel mit Aufbringen und herunter Polieren; ich habe mir gemütlich Zeit gelassen und alles in Ruhe gemacht und dennoch nicht einmal eine Stunde benötigt. Nach dem Aufbringen sollten die Scheiben 12 Stunden lang nicht nass werden, damit es komplett durchtrocknen und seine volle Wirkung entfalten kann. Wer also keine Garage hat: auf den Wetterbericht achten. Wird die Scheibe nass, perlen die Wassertropfen hammermäßig ab und sie fließen auch sehr viel schneller ab als sonst. Die restlichen Wassertropfen, die übrig blieben, stehen regelrecht auf der Scheibe. Das sog. Beading und Sheeting ist wirklich beeindruckend und ohne Scheiß: man freut sich wie ein kleines Kind darüber. In den nächsten Tagen werde ich das Ganze auch mal an der Fensterfront vom Wohnzimmer ausprobieren. Ich kann das Soft99 Ultra Glaco absolut empfehlen! Und es ist auch problemlos durch Jedermann durchführbar, man benötigt dafür kein Vordiplom in Autopflege ;-) P.S.: leider kommt der Effekt auf dem Video nicht ganz so rüber wie es tatsächlich ist, da die Bild-Qualität seitens Amazon herunter gerechnet und somit das Ganze verpixelt wird. Aber ich hoffe, man kann es dennoch ein bisschen erkennen.
