used to using a plastic strainer which became distorted with use and the handle over the steamy water so decide to try this steel one. So far works as advertised and gets clean in the dishwasher with no problems. It did feel awkward at first holding the pan in the right hand and findin the best position for the strainer due to the length of the handle but soon adapted and found the best position to hold it on the pan.

Handy, but as mentioned in other reviews lip needs to be ideally on the other side.

It's ok and easy to use and clean but the ridge on both sides would make it left and right handed

great quality and works well, much better than a colander, especially when you need to drain in the middle of the cooking process. I am right handed and hold the pan in my right hand and the strainer in my left - not problem. The lip is useful for securing the pot in place but it can be used the other way around, without help from the lip. It is still much easier than using a spoon to hold back the contents. The build quality is great and It goes through the dishwasher no problem.

I bought one of these in Sweden many years ago and was unable to replace it in the U.K. when finally it broke. If you are still using the lid to drain your saucepans or decanting into a colander then you are in for a treat with this simple tool. It works perfectly. This brand is solidly made. It was delivered promptly. You’ll be pleased with your purchase.

Good strainer but awkward to use it as to be held in left hand but l am right handed this strainer should have had a lip each side so that it could be used by either hand,other wise does the job but could do with being re designed

It's all stainless steel works great. It took me 3 yrs. to find this one. Very happy 😊.

It looks to be medium/heavy duty, but in the pictures, it looks to be bigger. Should work well with medium/large pots. I’d prefer it to be bigger for my big pots though.
