Is the noise random after the tune or at the same point each time ?

It was a gift for someone , but I did play it a few times and I am pretty sure it was random. It wasn’t obvious when it would happen.

Lots of "could be lounder comments" -my daughter has a hearing impediment, would it still be fun or too quiet, do you reckon?

I find it very loud. Especially when it goes off in the bag when I don't want it to! My son can't hear very well and can hear this okay. I would buy this many times over. He just takes it around in his little toy bag, much to his elder brothers disgust when he wants to play the game and can't find the piggy.

Would this work at a five -year-old birthday party? Thanks

I would have thought so although the suppliers list it as suitable for age 6 upwards

Is this suitable for a 3 or 4 year old?

The recommended age is 6+ and I think that’s probably accurate. The 4 year old with us, who thought this was a ‘silly game’, participated by watching the die and shouting out the instructions for us.
