Exactly how imagined the product. I am a complete dummie in hair styling subject and I did a lot of research, was still quite undecided as I have very fine hair, just covering covering ears, but not even chin level. I struggle with my shoulder recently and holding the hot brush could be difficult. Researched many of heated rollers available and really liked these, they looked really appealing, very feminine design. I think the courier was still in the process of starting the engine up when I was already pulling the rollers on :) It will need a bit of practise, but after couple of uses I am getting to grips with it. I was initially worried regarding the velour covering as my hot brush is spiky so hair doesn't slip off, but it stays on and hair come off smoothly, no tangling or catching like with the brush sometimes. I was quite taken by the idea of the large clips instead of pins you slide down to secure the rollers and that was quite important factor when I looked at different brands. Contradictory to some other reviewers they come out very easily out of their slots, not sure how you have to haggle to break them, unless somebody had a faulty item. They glide out and back in with no effort, gently does it. Heat up quickly, there is a clicking sound similar to when the iron makes when reaches the optimal temperature. I usually keep them on for another 2-3 minutes and start styling the hair. I feel they get much hotter if you keep them switched and with my fine, short hair the recommended period of time is sufficient so it is not too hot. The box is quite large (roughly the size of a 2 slice toaster, but slightly heavier) so if you were to put them in your hand luggage it would take up around half of the space and it is hard plastic so no squeeze. I will stick to my hot brush for such occasions as it is very compact. My fine type of hair keeps the volume for 2 days with spraying some setting lotion on the strands prior to styling, but I am still learning how to use them and also with different type of hair or different product results could be different. Overall I am a happy customer and would recommend the Remington rollers. Just a word of warning: it does smell of melted plastic when rollers are being heated up over the first few uses, but gradually it wears off with use. UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS To me they are not a quick style fix in the morning, which is a drawback. I let my hair dry naturally and then put the rollers in, for about 10-20 minutes. Too long to wait in the morning when you are rushing around. I was actually recovering from the surgery when I bought them and had more time. So basically, I don't use these on a daily basis, but more over the weekend when I have time to let my hair dry first. Also, if you keep them switched on for long, they get hotter and unpleasant when touch the skin a accidentally, so might be better to switch them off once hot enough.

I have been using hand held curling tongs for a while now and they have been quite time consuming so I decided to buy these and I found that once I put the curlers in I was then free to carry on and do other things. I did find these curlers were easy to use and I soon learned that the claw clips that holds the curlers are best if I clip them on the side nearest to the scalp. I also do like that this has a long lead to the plug and this is 180cm. My hair is long straight and these curlers give my hair a bouncy curl which I am very pleased with. All in all I found these were are quick to heat up easy to use and give me big bouncy curls so I do highly recommend them.

I really like these. On dry hair I sprayed K18 HeatBounce and then put the rollers in from the bottom of my hairline upwards, as per the instructions. The rollers aren’t difficult to remove from the unit, provided you lift them straight and not at an angle. I found that grasping a bit of hair in the clip close to the scalp helped the roller stay upright. Some didn’t but it didn’t affect the result. I left them in for 15 -20 minutes, until completely cooled down. When I removed them, which was easy and with no hair breakage, I had lots of bouncy curls. I used a brush several times to brush the curls out, which resulted in smoothed out curls with lots of body. If you feel a little heat on your forehead from a roller, just place a cotton wool pad underneath it. Highly recommend these rollers.

Excellent rollers and they do not tangle hair like spikey ones do. I can recommend them however lifting them off the heated rod is difficult with one hand. I'm hoping they will loosen in time. I do love my finished hair though

I have long thick hair past my shoulders, and have used various heated rollers regularly over the years. These seem to be the only sort available these days, and, while the curl is good, handling is not. They are fiddly to get off their heating base- even more annoying is that they are hot to handle, since the outer clip is also heated. They are very even more fiddly to clip in place in your hair, and I persistently feel them slide back down after I think they are fixed in place, resulting in having to start again. And again, handling that hot clip to pin the roller in place is too uncomfortable. They also don't come out too easily, as sections of my hair slip into the cleft right down the side. I'm just not enjoying styling my hair with these.

These are just the best heated rollers. They heat up quickly, and they are comfortable in your hair, no hard spikes like the 1970s Carmen rollers. I have hot brushes, curling tongs etc, but i reach for these every time. My hair is just past my shoulders and has long layers round the face. I use the 8 smaller ones for this, the rest for side and back. If i want a style refresh, i generally just put half a dozen round the front. You can be showering or getting ready while they set. The clips are a must have for any rollers so much better than the metal prongs. Ive been using them for about 4 years and no problems. I use a heat defence spray and a setting mousse by Elnett. I wish they did a little travel set though, they take up too much room if youre flying.

I’m so pleased with these heated rollers. I have bought many different gadgets to style my hair and I’m always disappointed but these are so easy to use and my hair looks bouncy and full as if it’s been styled at a salon. I have a short bob with long layers and my hair is fine, so not the easiest to style but with these rollers I get great results every time
