Mobicool T08 DC Thermoelectric Cool Box, Blue/Dark Grey

This is a top quality product. I tested it on arrival, so the only question is if it will last - but it definitely lives up to its specifications. I checked both cooling and warming with a thermometer. It does cool the contents 20 degrees below the outside temperature. So be aware of this - if you leave it in a car in summer with 60 degrees inside, it will only be able to cool the contents down to 40 degrees... but if you use it somewhere where the temperature is not higher than 25-30 degrees celsius, then this cooler will keep the contents at fridge temperatures. I also tried heating - it does heat up to about 55-60 degrees. That's enough to warm up a ready meal, but of course you can't cook anything in it (and that's not its intended purpose anyway). I was pleasantly surprised how fast it cooled and warmed up inside too. And it's very quiet - you hear nothing but a whisper. Only design issue I can see with this coolbox is that the cup holders (which are a nice idea in theory) are not very well thought out as they are above the warm air outlet (if you use the box to cool the contents). So in my test the cup holders were actually a few degrees warmer than the outside temperature, so if anything, they will only make anything you put in there slightly warmer, not cooler. That's kind of dumb, but I personally don't need the cup holders anyway, I just needed a good coolbox and I'm very happy with this.

To get the best out of this box don't use plastic containers but bags and you will get a lot more in the box. We use it for a regular three day trip to France and it is on all of the time. Everything remained very cold. Recommended for picnics and long car journeys for two or 3 people. Pros Well made. Feels sturdy. Cold. Remains cold when left on. Not sure how long it remains cold when left. Not tried the hot setting. Size. This is a compromise but it sits in the middle of the seats and if packed well can hold more than you initially think. No good for bottles and plastic containers. Cons Additional power supply. Had to pay for the separate mains supply. Bottles are a no no, It is a small space and is not goof for bottles and large cans. Best if you pack things in bags. Price. RRP is expensive especially if you need to buy the mains adaptor. Ok for under £50.

This a great coolbox for the money. I've had it wired in to an ignition activated feed on my car's electrical system so I can't forget to switch it off. We have had some recent long journeys and the bottles of water we have in it are really chilled. I haven't used the best function, but can only imagine if it is as good as the chilled, than there won't be any complaints from me. The cup holders are really handy too.

Paid a lot of money for what I thought was a cool box - when I first used it the inside became very warm, certainly nowhere near the 20 degrees below ambient they suggest. The 2nd time I had to use with an ice pack, even that melted very quickly, the fan at front blows out very warm air and makes the front of the box warm. Will go back to using sandwich box with ice pack - waste of money and will be returning product for refund.

Have a couple of larger coolers for holidays but this fits the bill for shorter trips. Tip. Invest in a ac/dc converter for precooling or say for use in a cheap hotel room. Is very quiet and efficient. Not tried the heat function but was bought primarily as a cooler.

I wanted this to be able to chill down to reasonable level of coolness. I found that three 500ml bottles of water were barely chilled after 15 hours. Sent one back thinking it may be faulty, second was the same. This may be OK if drinks are already chilled and just wanted kept chilled during the day - but then a much cheaper cool bag can do that. Returned for refund.

Its ok. Not the best. Keeps things mildly cold. Best off putting a frozen ice pack in to help keep it cold inside. Its cheap so it doesn't offer the best results.

Superb! Used on a trip to the South of France from the U.K. during the 2018 heatwave, and this activity chilled cans and food like a fridge daily in the car. I haven’t used the heat function yet, but in truth I have no need for this. We installed the chiller between my two child car seats in the rear (Regular saloon size) and use the seat belt attachment to keep in place. The lead was long enough to feed behind the rear seats and to the boot 12v cigarette lighter socket. The two cup holders paid off with the kids and opening the fridge during the journey was only obstructed slightly by the child car seat side impact protectors. With a wiggle of the child seats the fridge opened fine. We fitted 6 cans of 330ml sod drinks and sandwiches for four... plus a few other small bits. It was the perfect size with the Goldilocks theory came to mind. Any bigger it would have been unwelcome in the car and too small wouldn’t have been fit for what we needed it for. In all it was one of those buys which paid dividends, motorway sandwiches and food would have cost a fortune (for 4 it would have cost more than this fridge), and making food before the journey to store in the fridge was a wise move. Love this.

Arka taraf iki koltuk arasında rahatça duruyor yer kaplamıyor. Diğer buzluklar çok büyük oluyordu. Bu ise kol dayama ve içecek bardalığı ile fonksiyonel duruyor.

Branchée sur l'allume cigare sur la route des vacances, cette glacière très silencieuse est vraiment très pratique et permet de garder au frais boissons et médicament. Dans un hôtel, je l'ai branchée sur le secteur (grâce à un adaptateur) jusqu'au lendemain matin sans aucun souci. C'est au bout de quelques heures que le souffle commence à se faire entendre (Ca reste très raisonnable la journée mais peut être dérangeant la nuit). En gros je suis très satisfait du produit.

Nevera totalmente recomendable. Es muy silenciosa y el aire que expulsa no es demasiado caliente y apenas se nota. El sistema de anclaje con el cinturón de seguridad del coche está muy bien. Es bastante espaciosa para llevar botes o botellas pequeñas. Ideal para viajes largos en coche. Recomendable comprar el rectificador Mobicool Y50 de AC 220V a DC 12V para enchufar la nevera por las noche y así al día siguiente en el coche solamente se tiene que mantener el frio. No he probado la opción de calentar porque tampoco la necesito.

Die Mobicool T08, tragbare thermo-elektrische Kühlbox / Heizbox ist nun ein ständiger Mitfahrer im Auto. Die Mobicool T08 ist keine einfache eckige Box sondern gezielt für das mitnehmen im Auto und anschließendem tragen (zum Badesee, ins Ferienhaus, etc) gedacht. Der mitgelieferte Tragegurt kann jederzeit abgenommen werden. Nutzinhalt Die Form ermöglicht es nicht nur Dosen in der Box zu transportieren sondern auch Wasserflaschen die größer (bis zu 0,7l) sind – nicht zu vergessen das ein oder andere Radler für den Badesee. Insgesamt 8 Liter Nutzinhalt stehen zur Verfügung. Je nachdem wie man unterwegs ist (alleine oder als Familie) kann man die Mobicool auf dem Beifahrersitz sichern (durch die Gurtführung) oder eben auf dem Rücksitz. BONUS-TIPP: Wenn die Box auf dem Rücksitz in der Mitte platziert wird, dient sie durch Ihre Form gleich noch als bequeme Armlehne oder um streitende Kinder auseinander zu halten 😉 Praktisch sind auch die zwei Halterungen die bei geschlossener Box dann ermöglichen das aktuell offene Getränk zu verstauen. Kühlung / Heizung Mit im Lieferumfang ist ein sehr langes Kabel mit Zigaretten-Anschluss Adapter um die Mobicool T08 mit Strom zu versorgen. Damit wird die Kühlung bis 20 Grad unter der Umgebungstemperatur und Heizung bis +65 Grad gewährleistet. Die Anschluss-Seite ist auf der Front, so hat man leicht Zugriff auf den Stromanschluss und den Schalter ob man Heizen oder Kühlen möchte. Fazit Die Mobicool T08, tragbare thermo-elektrische Kühlbox / Heizbox erfüllt ihren Zweck voll und ganz. Getränke und das leckere Schinkenbrot bleiben frisch und kühl. Der zusätzliche Paxo Adapter ermöglicht den weiteren Betrieb dann im Ferienhaus, so bleibt die Temperatur immer gleich kalt bzw. warm.
