My review is a tad late (I bought this last year) because, if I'm honest, I was very nervous about using it. Thrush, though, becomes a part of life, more so if you are female, so sometimes you have to deal with it. Recently, thrush has been bothering me more than it has in the past. I've recently used the pessary—an interesting experience that I can't say I want to repeat, but may have to. I would suggest (as many others have) wearing a panty liner or lying on a towel in bed because you do get a discharge. In my case, it wasn't as bad as I feared (I wore an old pair of undies), and if I ever have to use a pessary again (I hope not, but life is life), I will be less nervous. The whole pessary contraption isn't designed ideally, but I managed to cope. I can see why others aren't keen on the design, though. Canesten seem to know what they are doing, so I'll give them a 4/5.
