Great product
Use this cutter a lot. it always cuts well

Broke and got replaced so not that sturdy
It broke after using it for a month so be careful in using it. Edit: Replacement has been going strong for over a year. I’d not load more than 1 chemex sheet at a time and you’re good.

Large circle punch
It's absolute rubbish. Only opened it and it won't reclose. Doesn't cut out circle and it leaves jagged edges on the bit it did cut. I have many punches and I've never had this problem.

great cutter; works well on 350 gsm
this cuts very well and the locking feature is great for storage. this is my second EK success cutter and would recommend this product. i've cut up to 350 gsm and it works fine. let's hope it stays sharp for a long time until i can afford a cricut!

EK 2 1/4 Inch punch
Item not as expected, does not work as described. When trying to punch paper or filter paper does not cut out the hole as described. The punch looks as if it's blunt.

I purcahsed this after seeing a video from James Hoffman about coffee extraction. He used this 2 1/4 inch punch to make filters for a 58mm portafilter. I use Chemex Square paper (FS-100) then I punch out 16 filters. I have to put my plam on the 2 1/4 inch silver disk, rather than at the end of the punch, as you need a bit of force to cut through 4 pages of filter paper, its not too bad, but you do need to push with a bit of gusto, nothing crazy. You can turn the punch over to see how the filter paper is positioned before you punch, but if you push it right to the end, then it works fine. Works really well, fit is almost perfect for a 58mm basket. Thanks to JH!
