DITTO LOOPER Highly Intuitive Looper Pedal with 5 Minutes of Looping Time, Analog-Dry-Through and True Bypass, Compatible with PC and Mac

There's a wide choice of looper pedals available, with all sorts of additional features. But for a pedal that just does what it says, this is perfect. It's compact and feels very sturdy in its metal housing. The single foot switch is easy to use to record, playback, overdub and delete. The single level control is the only other control. The playback is of excellent quality and when switched off, has true by-pass. Another nice little feature is; the rubber feet that stop it sliding on the floor come detached. You can use them if you want to, but it is easier to use a velcro style pedal board without them. I've had one for about a year and when looking to add more options when it comes to looping, I eventually decided just to get another Ditto!

I toyed with only giving this a 4* rating but realised if I did I'd just be a right idiot to do so..... Lemme explain! So I bought this on the back of cracking reviews on here and online elsewhere. I was looking for a loop pedal and hadn't heard of this particular one before and just happened to stumble upon it on a daily deal one day. It gives all the spiel about being designed by guitarists for guitarists etc. Well it does deliver! It's a great little looper provider nice clear recordings/signal. Instructions are so simple it's a joke not because they're rubbish but because the thing is so damn easy to use! Also it is tiny, and I mean super tiny it's like half the size of any of my Boss pedals. I've never managed to fill it up in terms of time layers etc and don't think I ever will. Connections and bypass seem great too. I like the colour design size simple single knob etc too. So why did I you with 4*? Well it's limitation is that I can't 'bank' recordings in the same way that you can with other pedals, but then I already KNEW that was a limitation before buying it! And to be honest bar a few times it would have been nice I find this is a cracking little unit they I love using to jam along to myself or test some layering of guitar tracks prior to actually going through the effort of recording them in Logic Pro X. Plus it's great for just messing around with if I feel like jamming with myself or sticking something on endless loop and leaving it on to annoy the other half..... :)

This is the first looper i have ever bought and over a year down the line i am still just as excited about it as i was when i first ordered it . It is a great looper.... looper... looper..... This really simple to operate! you push once to start a recording and push again to stop it, At which point it will play over and over again and you can repeat the process as many time as you wish to add new layers with a limit of 5 minutes recording time ( i have not managed to get to the point when it wont let me record anymore yet) This is really just great for crafting some unique sounds or just messing around with ideas. A fantastic and fun little pedal (its the size of a medium match box) with none of the over complicated and confusing controls you find on most loopers. It needs to be powered with a 9v lead though as there is no room on this for a battery so bear that in mind. I could use this thing for hours and often do so! Very well packaged and timely delivery. 5 stars!

This is the first looper pedal I've owned and I'm happy with it so far. I took it out the box, didn't bother reading any instructions and just started playing. It's intuitive, so you don't need the instructions and there's not many of them anyway. I thought it might have been difficult to get the timing right to create loops, but it was actually easy and mine worked first time pretty much every time. Pros: small easy to use great fun to play around with intuitive and easy to get going with from the off Cons: Need to buy power cable separately. Just include one and increase the price by a fiver to avoid giving people unnecessary hassle! If you want to stop and erase a loop, you have to double tap to stop, then step and hold to erase. This 3rd step causes the loop to start again for half a second before erasing, which will be really annoying for anyone playing live or recording material. Overall I'm happy for now. It's helping me with working on bits of lead guitar, and it's definitely improved my timing as I have a tendency to speed up as I play. I think someone wanting to use it live may want to look for an upgraded model though.

Brilliant and affordable great product

Small, simple and effective. This pedal is a little gem. Bought on a whim if I am honest, this little pedal (it's a nano pedal so takes up very little space on the pedal board) is easy to operate, does exactly what it is supposed to and does that well. I use this with bass and love it. My only negative comment is that, as with all nano pedals, if you are heavy footed and have the tendancy to try and stomp your pedals to death in use then you may find that this pedal has a tendancy to move under foot. Mine is anchored into my pedal board so this is not a problem but for floor use you may wish to consider its more stable bigger brother (which has more features to play with).

As far as audio quality is controlled, this is an outstanding pedal. I generally use larger loopers with more facilities on a board with other effects, and thought that the Ditto would be ideal for taking on planes when touring to cut down on baggage. I can't fault the build quality, or the loop building/ overdub/ erase and restore overdub functions. Where it fails is in not having a dedicated footswitch for stopping & restarting loops and the ability to erase loops when one has mastered the slightly clumsy double-tap that is required to stop a loop. Basically, you have to plan a long way ahead and remember to press once, then hold with the double press of the footswitch to ensure one erases a loop completely before stopping. Otherwise, you risk the embarrassment of two seconds of playback of the loop as you erase it between songs. Making sure to hit the bypass on your tuner removes this risk, but it is one more thing to think about, and if, like me, you are singing and playing through to the end of songs, this is always going to be a factor that makes it impractical for live use. In addition, you always have to carry a power supply with you, as the device is too small to hold a battery. Both of these problems have been addressed in the Ditto X2, and the only reason I didn't purchase one of them was because I wanted the smallest pedal I could find. The Ditto does everything possible in an amazingly compact unit and, if you are not having to multitask (sing & play at the same time) then this might be for you.

Petit mais costaud. Très simple d'utilisation. très pratique et utile pour des loops simples. Peut-être un peu trop simple pour une utilisation intensive sur scène mais excellent produit pour faire qq loops

Es mi primer pedal, soy guitarrista acústico desde hace muchos años, ahora sentí la necesidad de este pedal para acompañar algunas cosas en vivo, ya que me presento individualmente, me ha ayudado a practicar cosas nuevas y mejorar el tempo obligatoriame, simple, pequeño, práctico, fácil de usar, al parecer te dura una vida entera si lo cuidas, construcción robusta, 🚧 después del afinador este es un pedal que todo guitarrista debe tener, no precisamente este, sino un looper cualquiera, preferiblemente de buena calidad como este aunque es bastante costoso, lo compre en oferta por $1609mnx que aun así me parece caro, su precio regular anda sobre $2400mnx

Kullanımı oldukça basit ve sonsuz loop eklenebiliyor. Undo ve redo özelliği var. Doğal olarak tümm döngüler için bir volume kullanılabiliyor. Çoklu kayıt yapılacaksa dengeyi kayıt esnasında yapmak gerekiyor. Son kayıt silmediğiniz sürece hafızada kalıyor.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von der einfachen Funktionalität und der unverfälschten Soundwiedergabe des Loopers. Beeindruckend im Zusammenspiel mit einer Yamaha APX. Ca. 30 Minuten "Tret-Training" des Nutzers reichen bis knapp vor die Professionalität. Ich kann das Teil nur empfehlen, zur Stromversorgung vorzugsweise dann noch eine reine Gleichstromquelle ( 12- Gel-Batterie mit 9 V Adaptern aus dem Autozubehör - Laden ). Das hat man sowieso im Alu-Koffer mit den übrigen Bodeneffekten. Besonders praktisch die Loop-Lautstärkeregelung, ein einfacher Drehknopf mit klar definierter Stellung, keine stufenlose Elektronik o.ä. 5 Minuten Loop-Zeit, mehr muss nicht sein. Alles aus der Sicht eines, der Ende der 60er mit "Beat" und elektromechanischen "Endlos-Schleifen" angefangen hatte.
