Can we add a Dettol disinfectant in this?

I thought the whole point of this steam cleaner is so you don’t need disinfectant!!! The steam disinfects everything. Save your money and the environment! If you want a nice smell, you could add a few drops of essential oil into the tank.

Could this be used on an uneven brick floor?

I have an uneven floor of quarry tiles. I find if I pull the steamer backwards only OR put the handle further to the floor and go back and forth this does the job perfectly. Make sure the mop pad is moistened first though. I’m delighted with this cleaner.

How wet are the floors

How long is a piece of string? seriously though the degree of wetness from the "Hobbs" is probably less than that you would get from a normal mop,if memory serves me correct,in the instructions there is some mention of how long you should stay in one spot.Given that this mop produces steam,rather than just hot water vis-vis a standard mop,then wet floors shouldn't be an issue.

Is this suitable for Karn dean type flooring ie strip tiled floor

Yeah I used it on my floor and i have karndean my bathrooms are tiled. Just gives off a nice amount of steam. I have found it good.
