Good quality for a reasonable price and last a long time.
I am writing my memoirs while I have been shielding and I was getting fed up with not being able to find a decent, good quality, ballpoint pen. Even Parkers are rubbish these days. I am writing on 70gsm paper so most fountain pens are a little too heavy and therefore leaching is almost inevitable as is with a lot of really cheap gel pens. These Pilots are an exception. They write very well for a 0.7 mm nib and they last a long time before running out of ink, which you would think came from a good quality fountain pen. Finally, they have a good grip area, so no slipping of your fingers down the barrel, which makes writing very comfortable and easy. I shall probably not look for any other similar products from now on.

Cheaper than buying refills!
These are great pens, they write well, the ink flow is good, they're comfortable to hold and they are retractable so there's no cap to lose. In honesty I wanted to buy refills only as these fit directly into several other rollerball pens but it's cheaper to buy the complete pen than just the refill.
