BLACK+DECKER dustbuster Flexi 18V Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, PD1820L-GB

I really love this little appliance as it has made the chore of cleaning so much easier. I have been very unwell this year and the housework had to wait but this got me down seeing the dust etc building up. I saw and advert for the Gtech Multi and knew this type of appliance would really help but it was too expensive. After looking around I came across the Dustbuster which is still a lot of money but a lot less than the Gtech. The actual vacuum itself is really neat and fits nicely in the back corner of one of my kitchen worktops. Its style reminds me of an old fashioned telephone. The two tools extend the hose and help to get into different places. Its made a huge difference to my life because I can now do the cleaning a little bit at a time as and when I feel up to it. Its got very powerful suction which isn't much less than our main upright vacuum. It has a large dirt collection area and the filter is really easy to remove and clean. If you notice the suction is dropping its a sure sign the filter is clogged and needs cleaning out. I just knock mine out every couple of uses and then actually wash the filter every now and again. It lasts a long time - I've never used it for more than 15 minutes in one go and its still running normally at that point. Its easy to charge, you just put it back on its base and a flashing blue light shows it is charging. I mostly use the cleaner with the brush attachment which is particularly great for dusting. I've used the Dustbuster in every room of the house on all sorts of surfaces with great results. The only downside to it is that for most uses you really need to use both hands, one hand holding the hose and the other the vacuum itself. You can use it with the hose attached onto the vacuum put this only works for items right in front of the vacuum in a clear area. Having to use both hands is only really annoying when you need to move something, particularly if you are dusting but its not a big problem. If I need to put the vacuum down because I need one hand to move an item I have learnt to be careful where I put it down. I put it on a window sill once and as I moved the hose of course the vacuum moved as well and I only just caught it as it went tumbling over the side of the sill! The motor is quite noisy especially if you are reaching up to do high things like light fittings so the vacuum is right next to your ear. Overall great product and its really made life easier for me. That alone is worth a lot of money and I would happily buy this product again and would highly recommend it.

Simply Brilliant. I had the older 12v (Non-Lithium) model from 3 or 4 years ago. I t was great but the battery finally died & wouldnt hold charge. This basically the same design but is a lot more powerfull due to new 18v Lithium Battery, and a full charge lasts for a lot longer (around 15 minute). I wanted to buy this for ages, but put it off as I could really justify spending £100 which I though was a bit steep for a small hand-held vacuumm. Anyway, after a few weeks of procrastination, I DID buy it & Im glad I did. I might be expensive, but is really is very good. - The unit is lightweight, so very portable & using it is a breeze. - The flexible tube has about a 1.3m reach at full extension enabling you to get into alls kinds of nooks & crannies. - The suction is pretty powerfull & hasnt failed to suck up anything. - Very quick & easy to empty - 15 minute run time is great - I hardly ever have to charge the unit. 1 minor niggle - the previous model a had a seperate motorised brush attachement which was really usefull & used often, but they no longer make one. To sum up, A bit expensive, but works brilliantly & Highly recommended.

I'm finding this vacuum useful for jobs such as cleaning the car where starting to faff around with extension leads etc can make things more complicated than they need to be. Moving on to the vacuum itself, in use the suction is reasonably good, but I wouldn’t call it impressive – rated at 1700 watts I was expecting it to lift anything that wasn’t nailed to the floor; in reality it has nowhere near the suction power of a mains powered vacuum. The supplied tools seem up to the job, however, as another reviewer mentioned the ‘bristles’ on the flip out brush won't stand up to extended use as several are deformed and facing the wrong way after only a few uses. I haven’t timed the endurance from first switching on until the battery is exhausted, but it has been more than good enough to cover a mucky car interior with lots of dog hairs thrown in without any sign that the battery was running down. One thing to note is that it’s very noisy, so e.g. starting on the car at 8am on a Saturday morning may leave you in the doghouse with the neighbours. Lastly, the price – I got this model for £70; I have noticed the price bouncing around, sometimes as high as £129. I’d suggest that £70 is a reasonable asking price; I wouldn’t be prepared to pay much more for an item which is adequate, but not particularly special.

Black & Decker Handheld Vacuum We have two 10month old Frenchies who moult like crazy, it was getting too much trying to get the Shark vacuum into their crate, despite it being XL. I also have a handheld vacuum, but that is as strong as a gnat’s fart and doesn’t even pick up one piece of fur, let alone clumps full!! So I had a good look on Amazon and decided on this one, which was a lot more expensive than I thought I was going to spend. I was lucky to buy it on Prime deals day, so got it for just over £100. It comes boxed. My Husband thought it was going to be a bit too heavy for my arthritic wrists, but in actual fact, it’s very light! It had to be put on charge immediately - you park the vacuum on the base and plug the base in - a bit like an electric kettle, and as soon as the blue light goes off, it’s charged. I am so glad I chose this vacuum. The suction is great, especially for all the fur we need to keep clearing up, and the way you empty it is easy, just press the grey ‘handle’ on the side and tip it over the bin. It’s so easy to get out for little bits of tidying up through the day. I love that the hose comes off to reach into tight spots, and it comes with the brush and reaching tool too. You will see the culprits in my photos checking out the new addition to the family. As always I have added a few photos to this review to help you with your decision.

As usual I took my time to find the best product at a reasonable price. I am not sure why there are so many high reviews on this - I don't think it's that great. It's not cheap and for the price the suction could be a lot better. I have to remind myself that it is battery powered. But I also have a Gtech vaccum (not the hand held) which is battery powered and that has major suction power. Might have been better off with the Gtech hand held as well but the price is a lot higher. I do like the design on this vaccum. It is very light and portable. The pipe makes it very flexible and easy to get into those hard to reach areas. I gave up on the little brush attachment as that seemed to reduce suction even more. The charging stand has a place for the extra tool but that is fairly useless as it gets knocked off easily. However, it does what I need it to... suck up cat litter and take the worst off the stairs. But it isn't the product I was looking for. I came very close to sending it back at the beginning. If this is the power you get with the 18V version, be careful if you are looking at less powerful vacs. Update. Suction got really bad then found the internal paperlike fan filter. Instructions say that this requires removal, cleaning and also washing if necessary.....it's so small I am not looking forward to sorting this out). I've now purchased three of these over the last 14 years three exactly the same my last one lasted for eight years and I've just purchased one a few days ago. Now I'll start with the negatives the negative is probably the fact that it's not fantastic at picking up debris especially hairs from carpets. However the positives are many for instance around the kitchen this little handheld hoover is absolutely perfect for everything you could possibly want and if you have heart floor throughout your living space this is great for picking up all their brief from a hard floor instantly but me personally I use it for my car and I found that in conjunction with my hand brush I use in my car this handheld is excellent and does exactly what I need so therefore in short I am completely happy I've got no Grimes and grumbles and I would very happily purchase one again this is 50% cheaper than it's rivals that might only give a marginal increase in suction so 50% discount for what the rivals charge is money very well spent.

Same as my previous hand held Vacuum and new item confirmed that the original charger had failed. Sadly no replacement chargers appeared to be a option

Uso questo prodotto per le finiture della pulizia di casa e per pulire, molto raramente, l'interno dell'auto. Utilissimo il tubo flessibile per arrivare in posti scomodi con la bocchetta. La durata della batteria è più che soddisfacente, ma non eccezionale, anche perché non è previsto un ricambio. La pulizia del filtro interno da origine ad una nube di polvere sottile ... . Un difetto: la cerniera dello sportellino del serbatoio è molto fragile.

Ich benutze den Sauger in unserem Wohnmobil.Bisher der mit größtem Abstand beste Akkusauger. -mega handlich -leise -tolle Saugkraft -kommt in jede kleinste Ecke -Akkuleistung trage ich nach,weil noch nicht leer Leide erstmal nicht zu gebrauchen da kein Eurostecker,musste ersteinmal ein Adapter kaufen.......ganz kleines Manko jedoch kein Drama.Das Teil überzeugt zu 100%,ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

c'est le troisième que j'achète , c'est un excellent aspirateur pour la maison aspirer le lit la cambre , les miettes dans la cuisine , pour un nettoyage rapide , maniable , l'autonomie ne vous attendez pas a des exploits c'est pour faire un nettoyage quotidien et rapide chez soit
