what grit are these files?

Files are generally measured in "cuts per cm" or by count of the teeth. These would be considered "fine" or "smooth" finishing files in the range of 46/56 cuts per cm. The flat file is slightly more aggressive than the round and teardrop files. Like all files, I would suggest a nylon toothbrush or a brass brush to clean the teeth and help the files do their job better.

Are these good for creating weathering and notches into gunpla models? looking to create “strikes” into the armor & using tamiya wash and powders. tyt

I'm sure you can use them for that. But start slow, they eat plastic really fast, more than you would imagine. Some light scratches of the files around the edges would suffice. I have mainly used them to remove big nub marks in parts that are not going to be visible or glued together, because they leave really visible marks, but that's what you are going for.
