Sorry, just wanna to make sure do we need to put the soil to cover the seed or just put the seed on top on soil?

Dear Ms Chong Remove all weeds and stone,turn soil over approx. 6-9inch depth.shake box to mix seed,your need a large hand full per mtr.Gently rake in,then tread or roll seed in to soil.

I have the Easy Spreader plus but this does not contain instructions for which setting to use on it. Any ideas?

Sorry don't know but a lowish setting to give a light but visible spread.

Is this bird repellent?

I am sure if you put adequate seed down and lightly rake to give a slight covering you should get enough germination to repair or grow new areas. It never does any harm to add bird scares, i.e. sticks with ribbons or similar.

Will this grow grass inside?

No its for outside lawns ? if you water it, lot of soil, and sun light it may do.
