Very Fun.
Very fun cooperative game, but very stressful when you're the ghost and the psychics are focusing on the wrong details. Beautiful, good quality materials, especially the Vision Cards. Think cooperative Cluedo, but better.

So much fun!
I love this game!! More and more, I want to play cooperative games, and this is a perfect example of why-- everyone works together every step of the way and it's a lot of fun. We do change the rules slightly, which helps overall game play: the "ghost" is allowed to use any of the vision cards, not just the recommended hand of 7. (We found that limiting the visions to what's on the 7 cards made the guessing that much more difficult. Using all of the cards does slow the game play a bit in the beginning, but the ghost will become faster at choosing vision cards as he or she learns them.) The game "moves" and doesn't feel boring or stagnant at any point. Definitely leave yourself at least an hour to play, but we've completed games in less time. I played with someone who was 10 at the time and she needed some help but still loved the game and enjoyed herself. I think it might be too difficult for anyone under 10.

Puzzling yet Coperative
Mysterium is one of my favorite co-operative games ever! I love trying to connect the dots between what you guys have and the input of others!

Not a very good game
To me, a little dose of healthy competition among friends or relatives is what makes board games engaging. You banter and laugh in the harmless setting of the game. All of this is impossible with this particular "cooperative" game, where all the stress is on the one playing as the spirit, who has to come up with a good set of matching cards while the others wait trying to fill the dead time. It is frankly upsetting for all involved and, at the end, you are just too tired of the experience that it doesn't matter if you finish the task. Beautiful illustrations though.
