Great cutters.
Good quality. Very sharp. Easy to hold and slip resistant. Easily cuts through plastic or resin. Bit pricey but I don't mind paying for quality. Wish you could lock them closed as their default position is open.

Wow great side cutters a must have for model making
Wow total game changer. these are so sharp and cut much closer than my other snips definitely recommend for for aged over 15 only .suitable model makers with small awkward sprues to cut very sharp so beware.

very sharp
Really sharp. the quality is tangible. it is very good for plastic sprues. it has a better cut respect to the normal cheap ones. I think it is due to how the blades are organised (Functionally I think there is one blade fixed and one mobile respect to 2 mobiles). perfect size, really easy to use (as expected).

Worth the Money!!
Worth the money. I have had cheaper nippers but you get what you pay for and these are excellent. As always with Tamiya well made and these are extremely sharp

A pleasure to use
Sharp, easy to use, cut with almost no effort. A flat cutting profile allows a nice flush cut against parts for minimal sprue-gate cleanup. Their action is smooth and precise - no wobble or slop. The fine cutting tip allows much better access than heavier alternatives where gaps are tight. Expensive enough that I’ll be taking good care of them. A definite step up from my previous pair that are now relegated to chopping the thicker runners to gain better access to small parts.

Awesome
OK, they are comparatively expensive, but these are frankly the best precision sprue cutters you can buy. The fine point of the 74123 model allows you to get tight to the smallest parts and these cutters do not pinch the plastic (like a cheaper pair would), meaning cut is super clean and the amount of clean-up to the plastic part is very minimal, if at all. Note these cutters are designed for precision cutting of parts from the sprue - if you want to cut the sprues themselves or are working with thicker plastic, get the 74001 Tamiya cutters, which offer a more all round ability. I use both of these cutters, they're worth every single penny, they're brilliant, very high quality and will enhance your skills and improve your results.
