Occasionally, due to illness, overindulgence, dodgy food or stress, I get stomach issues. I used to take Pepto Bismol, but that is quite difficult to get hold of in the UK. These little sachets are a great replacement and perfect for settling and calming a gripey stomach. They have been invaluable when travelling and have allowed me to attend work or social functions without spending the whole time in the bathroom! The main disadvantage of this medicine is that it doesn't taste very nice but at least it does not contain artificial sweeteners or flavourings. Overall, this Silicogel has helped me on many occasions and I always keep a few sachets in my wash bag for emergencies.

When I first started taking Silicolgel, it was a game-changer. Within the first few days, it significantly reduced my bloating and stomach pain, making me feel like I finally found the solution I’d been searching for. For those initial 10 days, it truly was the best thing ever, providing much-needed relief. However, after about 10 days, the effectiveness seemed to taper off. It didn’t continue to improve my symptoms as much as I had hoped, so I realized it wasn’t going to be a long-term solution for me. Since then, I’ve switched to drinking electrolytes every morning, which has made a huge difference. This routine has helped me tremendously with managing stomach pains and bloating on a daily basis. For the occasional flare-up, I now turn to Silicolgel, which has been a reliable and effective remedy. It consistently helps when I do experience bloating, though it is a bit on the expensive side. Overall, while the initial medication provided short-term relief, I’ve found a combination of electrolytes and Silicolgel to be more sustainable and effective in the long run.
