Best sand for hermit crabs.
This sand is a must for hermit crabs . This is way better than beach sand for helping maintain humidity in your aquarium.

The best sand
I bought this for my hermit crabs and it’s been amazing! The texture is just right — soft enough for them to dig and burrow, but not too fine or dusty. It holds moisture well, which is super important for keeping the humidity at the right level in their habitat. There’s no weird smell or artificial color, and it’s safe and clean right out of the bag. I mixed it with some coconut fiber for extra depth, and my crabs have been more active and happy ever since! Definitely a great product for any crab owner who wants to give their little buddies a comfortable, natural environment. I’ll be reordering for sure!

Happy Hermit Crab
The grandkids little hermit crab named Herman immediately got more active and happy once we changed his sand to this one. Previously, we had made our own mix from play sand and coconut fiber per instructions. It did not have a nice smell and mold tended to develop. This one smells great, has a nice loose crumbly structure,and the crab is much more active. Within a couple of weeks, he entered hibernation. He has come out once to eat and look around and gone back down. Clearly this sand is a great habitat for a hermit crab.

Hermit Crab Sand Substrate
Thank god I found this product on Amazon! This saved me a trip to the store and from purchasing several bags of sand for the hermit crab tank. One bag lasts two cycles (at least for our tank). Quality of the sand and substrate is perfect and exactly as described. Will be making a purchase of this again!
