Excellent. Retains heat. Not delicate like the ceramic types. Using on Green Egg XL. No rust problems. Super easy to clean with grill brush. Makes great hash-marks on my rib-eye steaks !!!

Heavy duty for sure, this is my third attempt. The first was the ceramic that I bought from BGE, it cracked after only a few used. The next was a cast iron, similar to this one and it lasted years but it slowly developed a crack which lasted over a year. This one is really awesome but it's heavy in weight so keep that in mind.

My stone cracked over time and finally broke. I decided to buy the cast iron alternative and this one fits perfectly. It is very heavy compared to the stone but not as fragile. Should last longer than the egg itself.

It was easy to use and it fits my needs.

It’s not a bad plate setter, it is a different design from the last one I ordered from the same company. Was hoping to get the same one, but this one collect grease because of the pool like design, even after wrapping in tin foil, I’m only 3 cooks in and it has already cracked.
