Pros: These Blum slides are worth the money, and this was a good deal on six of them. So much cooler than side-mount drawer slides. The slides are reasonably forgiving in terms of alignment. The action is smooth, and the self-close is a wonder of engineering design. I could stare at them closing all day. Unavoidable: As for installing the slides, cabinets are tight spaces, and it would help to be a Hobbit. Cons: The packaging used to send these was, ahem, minimal. Scarcely thicker than a shoebox. Six of these weigh about 40-50 lbs, so the box was nearly falling apart when it arrived. I would suggest a few extra pieces of cardboard. I mounted these directly to the 'floor' of the cabinet, and as such, I needed the #6 Truss head screws ...which did not come with the kit. A quick trip to the hardware store solved that, but it seems like an oversight. When I ordered a single pair of these slides from another vendor, it came with the truss head screws. It was a small disappointment in an otherwise good experience.

We got these for the cabinets we are building based on several YouTube woodworkers using them. They are very solid and made of good material. They fit great into the cabinets. The price is good for the quality of the product. Instructions are great (once you can make a man read them) they seem easy to adjust and close nicely. Highly recommend

Blum are wonderful slides, however, the measurements are off. I ordered the 21" slides, however the slides are actually 21.5" long. Wish the actual dimension were listed. The product description states " A 21-inch runner pairs with a 21-inch drawer length. For face frame cabinets using rear mounting brackets, your inside cabinet depth should be at least 21-15/16 inches and no more than 23-19/32 inches. For frameless cabinets, only the minimum depth matters". I am not using rear mount, and the 21" slides are actually 22.5". The description is a little confusing/misleading. When it says "for frameless cabinets, only the minimum depth matters".... My bad for not verifying on the company website. Just be aware. Now I have to either return and reorder something else or put on a face frame..... not happy.

The slides themselves are great, I've been using them for years. The box these came in was falling apart and one of the clips was damaged. I think it would still have worked, but I used an extra on I had on hand, so I didn't bother returning it. If you get these slides I recommend purchasing the jigs that make it easy to drill the holes for the clips and the hole for the metal prong on the end of the slide.

I am trying to retro-fitting my kitchen cabinets with these slides. If I could give them a "zero" rating I would because they are extremely difficult to align so that the drawers slides smoothly and closes as advertised. After some research, I found that this Blum slide is notorious for "binding" and is sensitive to as little as 1/32 of an inch misalignment. Come on Blum! you may be able to engineer a slide that is high quality and very smooth but it does no good if you can't provide a better means of installing it. I am using Kreg jigs and other appropriate tools but it is a nightmare. Don't buy this product if you are involved in a retrofit project.

Used these a number of times for retrofit on replacement drawer boxes. They are time consuming to install but it gets easier as you do more of them. I strongly recommend the Blum installation tool. it is a great time saver and assures proper hole alignment for mounting on the drawers. These slides have a great open close action and the ability to lift off the drawer box after they are installed is a big plus with my customers. They are a bit pricey but the end result is superior.
