I bought this sand pump knowing that it wouldn't last forever but I did expect it to last at least 1 year which it did not ... July 2023 I purchased this product ... It was average at best filtering my pool ... I used the pump during the summer of 2023, stored the pump during the winter months ... When I started prepping my pool for the summer May 2024 I found the housing on the pump was cracked and wasn't usable anymore ... I contacted the seller who told me they couldn't help me and sent a link to buy a new pump 😒... Customer service was horrible and they were really short with me ... DO NOT BUY this product last about 8 months for your money

This is small but mighty and our 10' x 16' pool hasn't been this clean since we first filled it up right out of the box! Very pleased. We are using filter balls instead of sand and it is working beautifully! Pump size is just right for our pool as well. Great price! Not as easy to set up as we would have liked but we finally did it.

It's not too loud pretty easy to use and to clean as well great quality and was worth the price.

I purchased this sand filter and pump for our pool last year (2024). It's been great. Although I actually came to give everyone a word of advice in advance so you don't have an opening pool season like I have this year. I stored it away and went to get it out for this season. For some reason it wouldn't come on. It was literally the strangest thing. I read so many reviews and watched so many videos in what could be the issue. All made me think I must have blown the motor when I went to start it up. We'll apparently there is a slow blow fuse and little batter in there that blows it when it gets tripped it can blow. I literally have had the hardest time this year on opening our pool. Even bought another pool pump from a (top brand). That wasn't as great as this one. Long story short. I finally reached out to Xtremepower to see what can be done since it was only a year old. Well nothing was able to be done since I was out of the window for warranty. But the person I communicated with mentioned trying the slow blow fuse and battery. Sure enough that's exactly what the problem was. Literally spend $10 for both. Please check those before buying another pump or going through the headache I have with trying to open our pool.

I purchased this pump/sand filter combo for an upgrade to my Summer Waves pool. Well first off the instructions that come with this are horrible, very limited, you basically just have to wing it. I finally got it hooked up and it ran well for ONLY 5 MONTHS!!!! It just stopped working, wont turn on or light up nothing. I messaged Customer service, did what they suggested. I put a new battery and fuse in, STILL NOTHING and they wont do anything about it!!!!!! Paid $200 for something to last 5 months DISGUSTING!!!! So I ended up putting the 4 year old Summber Waves small little pump back on my pool. Sad that that pump still works after 4 years and this company's product that cost $200 only lasted 5 months barely............... Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to buy your products!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's working perfect in our pool. I have a 16 x 42 round pool. and it keeps my water crystal clear. I love it. last year around this time my pool ended up getting algae in it. but this year my pool is the cleanest it's ever been.

We loved loved loved it at first! Now after 1 yr of use it’s making very loud noises an sounds like it’s gonna break! From what we can tell it’s a motor issue!
