I’ve just started one. I would not recommend for beginners unless you’re willing to watch videos and be very patient. I’m not a beginner so I’m not intimidated. I’m having a lot of fun with mine. The thread seems to be quality and there seems to be plenty. Each kit is packaged separately which I like. But you really need to pay attention to details. The instructions are somewhat clear but have a some spelling errors like knot spelled nkot or something like that. So don’t let things like a typos put you off. And if needed use the codes for videos. Or just go to YouTube and watch some elementary level embroidery tutorials. I had watched some tutorials before even buying my kit to review. It’s been years since doing any embroidery for me. It’s relaxing for me. It’s nice and slow and easy.

Pretty and easy to do. Good quality with pretty colors, comes with threads, needles and scissors. I made these for my mother as a Mother's day gift. It was fun for me while watching TV. If you work for a long time you can get 1 finished in 2-3 days. I got 3 for the price I would pay for 1 in the craft store. The embroidery loop is a good quality. I ordered 3 loops and hung these for Mom in her assistant living bedroom.

This is a nice set because it comes with everything you need. And, you'll even have some leftover floss. However, I strongly advise to use an aresol hairspray to set the outline (not a pump spray) or a white marking pen because the more you handle it, the more it comes off. And, if you need to take anything out, the pattern line is completely gone. Otherwise, this is a good starter pattern for beginners.

Great kit with clear instructions.

I almost never write reviews for items but had to make an exception for this kit. This was my very first exposure to embroidery and I’m so happy I went with this one. Since then, I’ve tried other ones and you can tell they aren’t made by people who know embroidery. This kit is easy to follow with great stitch choices whereas some others give terrible stitches for certain areas that just don’t make sense or aren’t illustrated correctly. The materials were good quality for the price and the colors were accurately pictured, something I’ve learned is not always the case. It comes with every single thing you need. If you’re brand new to embroidery, please let this kit be your first!

My 13yo daughter loves this and is a beginner. This was perfect and great for a beginner. We are very pleased with it.

It’s a lovely item to learn or practice stitches. The videos are helpful, but only to a point. Being a beginner it doesn’t explain everything needed to accomplish the stitch. Example: stem stitch…the video shows how to accomplish the stitch but doesn’t explain how to keep the floss from pulling through the hole from the needle when using a single strand of floss. I had to look up a few other videos to get the information needed in order to accomplish the stitch. Sadly had similar problems with a few of the others as well.

I bought this Embroidery set as a Christmas present for my grand daughter. I don't have a review yet but will give an updated review after Christmas. I am sure she will like it though...she likes doing detailed projects and loves butterflies. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars, is that it didn't come in a box. As far as gift giving goes, a box would have been nice. Other than that.....we are looking forward to her expression when she receives it at Christmas.
