Extremely hard to attach, and even harder to turn. As an adult male with average arm strength, this opener takes an extreme amount of hand strength to turn. Also, for most cans, takes multiple efforts to get the opener to attach and begin cutting the lid. Extremely disappointed with pricey highly rated opener. One of the worst. So bad we've had to just throw it out and order another one that hopefully is easier to turn an affixes to the can better. Almost any other opener you could buy would surely best this one.

I thought the best opener was the Swingaway model 501 until I got this! Works flawlessly and leaves a good edge. Easy to clean and looks like it will last a while.

Worked great the day I purchased it. Stopped working about 3 months ago so maybe about 6 months into using it. Its not like I open that many cans either. Was looking for a new one so thought I would let everyone know I also tried to save a few bucks but this one just doesnt last. Going to contact the company since it is less than a year old and see if they will replace. Not sure if this is common or just happened to me. I dont like to write bad reviews. I would rather love and use what I buy.

This is absolutely the hardest-to-turn can opener ever! Extremely difficult to turn at first, but got easier w/repeated use (but still hard). Like that it opens the cans from the side & that it's lightweight. Takes up little drawer space, too. Still had to buy another one that had an easier-to-turn twister.

Doesn’t work on several can types that I’ve encountered. On the types it will work on: it works great. I really like the concept and the style of cut, but it only works half the time.

Simple-Strong-Easy To Use and a lot smaller than the scissor action clamp on design. Also it cuts the can right under the lip of the rim making it easy to center and replace the lid if you are saving an unused amount in the can. Like dog food for example.

I'm truly disappointed with the product, in that only some four months into using the product, it fails to engage the lid and work as designed. Despite all manner of jockeying the opener and the can, trying this angle and that, differing pressures, etcetera, the opener fails to engage the lid and perform. fortunately, I still keep a number of 'reserve' openers of the 'P-38' type that are as close to 'fail-safe' as one might hope for, and as I don't open that many cans, I'll be able to get by until this problem is either rectified/replaced, or I find another opener of superior form and function at one of the many thrifts I frequent.
