Good, comfortable stool for the price. Light weight but sturdy.
Good padded stool for the money. I purchased this to sit on while playing guitar. I can't say how well it works for a drummer but it's perfect for a guitarist.

Good enough
Works great for someone who doesn't play all the time or is just beginning and doesn't want the expensive stuff yet. It doesn't feel super sturdy but seems to hold up. I am 128lbs and feel safe enough on it. The seat does not rotate and the height adjustment doesn't change much. I mostly left 4 stars because the manufacturer box had two massive puncture holes and the metal had a big scratched scuff mark. The seat was fine and the scuff didn't alter its functionality so I kept it because it is a cheap seat anyway and I'm the only one that sees it so I don't care.

Simple and comfortable
The seat is simple to setup. One bolt and wi gnut to change height. It rocked a bit at first, so I tightened the seat adjust bolt more and it was fine. The seat is comfortable for me, but I am 180 pounds.

Come sit on the throne!
Bought my son a nice set off Marketplace that didn't have a throne. This throne is sturdy, easy to assemble and adjust, and looks good. Great buy and fair priced.

Not for adults
I’m 6’ tall and 185lbs. I’m a self-taught, hard rock drummer that uses 7b sticks and plays with a heavy hand. The bad habits I developed result in countless broken sticks, popped heads, and jagged, dead cymbals. It also results in quite a lot of movement on a thrown. But! This purchase was for an electronic kit in my dining room. While still bound to my destructive habits, the wear and tear on this drum thrown is far less than a with a road kit, or even a live kit in a garage. I mention all of this to give context. The set screw locking the seat in place would come loose before the end of a single song, and the main shaft actually bent from less than 6 hours of use. Thread locker fixes the screw, but the bent shaft is unrepairable. I know, I know it CAN be fixed, but do you really want to trust it to hold your ass up afterwards? I don’t. The thrown would be great for kids, but I wouldn’t try it for an adult.
