National Electrical Code, 2023 Edition with Tabs

Easy to use and was very useful for my exam

As the title states. This book is what I need in order to test in Texas, but the tabs that come with the book could use some work. They are very light, and the font on them is a little difficult to read, almost blurs. There are definitely better tabs out there. The ones on the top are the ones that come with this book, the ones on the bottom came with a different book from another seller. There is a noticeable difference in the two. Also, the table on page 773 for the Informative Annex C is incorrect. The pages listed on the table do not match up with the book. I had to go through the book to find the correct page numbers and mark them out on the side of each section of the table, so be aware of that.

If you’re preparing to take your electrician exam, or related open book exam.. go ahead and buy directly from the NFPA website. I know, it’s more expensive, which is why you stumbled upon this “cheaper” option. This seller is clearly reprinting the book, or is getting cheap defective books from somewhere to resell. Pages are missing and pages are duplicated.. for me, it’s missing the entire chapter of Electric Heaters, and also has multiple duplicates of various pages. Unfortunately, I also tab my code books, and I found out about these issues half way through the tabbing process. I bought the Mike holts tabs, which is almost $30. So imagine my dissatisfaction when I found out I wasted the money on this book, and probably ruined my tabs. I have returned the book, and bought a legit one from the NFPA website. Now I have to wait even longer.

Mine came to me wrapped well and in perfect condition with tabs to install. All the print and pages looked like they should. Paperback. I used it in a code change class right after I got it. I found nothing wrong with it, page by page. Good purchase for me!

The book was in good condition, but the tabs it came with were kinda bad quality. I recommend buying separate tabs for the book. Se of the tabs writing was scratching off with out trying.

I purchased this just in time to take my Oregon CEUs for 2023. The print is clear and the pages are all there, as far as I have been able to tell. I've seen reviews for some versions of the NEC which stated there were missing pages or they were difficult to read. The copy I received from Amazon was brand new and and I am glad I purchased this.

Perfect for taking electrical journeyman test.
