Is this easy for a child who wears glasses to use?

Our grandson found this gift hard to use, The materials were cheap and not all that well made. The microscope was not easy to use and see things. I wear glasses and found it hard to see in the microscope (as an adult) with my glasses on).

Why is it not working

I couldn’t get it to work either and I am a microbiologist!

Good product, exactly as described

Nice toy for teaching kids the basics of how to use a microscope, what it does, how different thing look when magnified. The magnification is not that good though.
