Nancy Zieman's Sewing A to Z: Your Source for Sewing and Quilting Tips and Techniques

Every Nancy Zieman book was a must have, with clear instructions. The resource books on techniques and tips are the best out there. She was so knowledgeable and shared that knowledge in a way that was effective and easy to understand, no matter your own skill level. This book is a keeper.

This is such a wonderful sewing book! It is extremely detailed and so much so that Nancy goes through the steps of Vogue techniques that are obviously advanced (a little intimidating, too). Incredible drawings accompany this detailed well-versed instructional book. This should be in every sewing/crafter's studio.

This woman knows how to sew and how to communicate her skills with great clarity to any level of learner. I am very pleased with this book. I also bought one for a dear friend as a Christmas gift, b/c she wants to learn to make her own clothes. There are very detailed picture guidelines, as well as written directions that make this a "must have" book if you need specific directions for sewing. There are also very helpful instructions for quilting, which I also do. For me, it's a great reminder for things I've forgotten how to do. Great book!!!!!

I was very surprised and pleased to find this book so well written. The instructions and tips are spot-on. I was actually looking for a sewing reference book to recommend to beginner sewists This book is a must read for every newbie and a great resource to add to your personal library.

The book is filled with lots of sewing and quilting tips. The book also contains suggestions for storing sewing supplies.

I got the ebook version!!!! Great book for reference in your sewing room. Some of the numbers mentioned in inches appear as a "?" (Something the publisher should look at) but there's the metric measurement next to it so its not hard to figure out the inches. This is why this ebook got 4 stars. Otherwise....I see myself referring to this book on every project. It has lots of great tips and tricks. Great Buy!

Had many sewing books at home and trying to downsize without losing some of my basic books for 'recall' when I need a little help now and then. This book is perfect!! I watched Nancy for years on TV making sewing so very easy and fun for the beginner or seasoned sewer or whether you are doing crafty things. I purchased this book and "Confident Sewing Collection" and was able to donate ALL my other sewing books as I had no need for them!

Has so many great tips and illustrates them well, why not she was one of the Best!

really well demonstrated and clearly pictured. things here I never knew and I've been sewing since the 60s! lay flat format is very good.
